DESCRIPTION
Group Reservations policies and procedures
- All Smithsonian visitors, regardless of age, must have a timed-entry pass to visit.
- Companions or a personal care attendant, also need a timed-entry pass.
- Large groups will be required to break into subgroups of up to 12 participants including chaperone.
- Passes are valid only for the issued date and time and void if altered. The maximum number of passes per reservation is 100.
Chaperone Guidelines:
- At least one adult chaperone is required to accompany up to 10 students.
- Chaperones must stay with their group for the entirety of their group visit.
Museum Entry:
- Groups must present their single group pass printed or digital timed-entry passes to be scanned at the Madison Drive, NW entrance.
- Groups can enter the museum up to two hours after the printed entry time.
