Join us for an interactive workshop on vocal health for older voices, led by voice specialists from the Duke Voice Care Center.
Learn what happens to our voices as we age, and how to have a healthier, more fulfilling communication experience.
Take part in hands-on learning sessions for singing and speaking voices.
Anyone interested in having a better voice will benefit from this immersive event!
Social connection is one of the leading predictors of longevity, and the voice is vital to that connection.
As we age, the voice can change, resulting in a weak or raspy sound, difficulty getting loud, more effort with speaking, and general vocal instability.
Don't take voice changes for granted! Be proactive in aging well and maintaining a stronger voice.
Don't let getting older keep you from making the best of your aging voice!
Visit the Duke Voice Care Center website at www.dukevoicecare.org.
Will call tickets are available beginning one hour prior to the workshop. For assistance with accessible seating requests at the Cary Arts Center after 3pm on Friday and throughout the weekend, please contact the general box office at 919-462-2055 or the Cary Arts Center 919-469-4069, and/or reach out to the House Manager beginning one hour prior to the workshop.
