Carnival of the Animals is a celebration from sea to sky to the stars. It is a funny, beautiful and clever musical suite of 14 movements originally composed by Camille Saint-Saens. The celebration portrayed in this ballet work has been re-imagined for The Fairfax Ballet Company by Andrea Cook, the Artistic Director, to include creatures from land, sea and sky.  Unique musical selections will enhance and update this parade of exotic animals such as jellyfish, lions, elephants and birds.

Other Works performed at this show will include excerpts from Swan Lake by Tchiakovsky, set by Marcela Figueroa for the Senior Company.  David Arce choreographed a piece for the Senior Company.  Our Junior Company dancers will perform a piece choreographed by Philip Smith-Cobbs.
