Grammy-nominated multi-platinum band NEEDTOBREATHE will play at the Kansas State Fair, Friday, Sept. 8.
This dynamic rock group has generated over one billion streams, topped several Billboard Radio, Album and Sales Charts and have sold-out arenas and amphitheaters all over the world. They’ve garnered two Billboard Music Award nominations and appeared on nearly every network television show including The Today Show, Good Morning America, Ellen, The Late Late Show with James Corden and CBS’ Sunday Morning. Their 2020 album release, Out of Body received worldwide critical praise and debuted in the Top 5 of three Billboard Charts. Grammy award winner, Carly Pearce, is coming to the Kansas State Fair, Saturday, September 9. Her top hits include “I Hope You're Happy Now” (with Lee Brice), “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” (with Ashley McBryde), “Every Little Thing”, “What He Didn't Do”, and “Next Girl”.
At age 16, Pearce left her home in Kentucky to take a job at Dollywood. In a full-circle turn of events, iconic superstar and Grand Ole Opry member Dolly Parton extended the coveted invitation to Carly, who was officially inducted by Trisha Yearwood on August 3, 2021.
Pearce’s 2-time Platinum-certified “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Lee Brice won both the CMA Awards Musical Event of the Year and ACM Awards Music Event of the Year as well as the 2021 ACM Single of the Year. Carly recently took home ACM Awards for Female Artist and Music Event of the Year for “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde.
Opening for Pearce is up-and-coming country artist Megan Moroney. Her debut EP, Pistol Made of Roses, includes songs “Tennessee Orange,” “Hair Salon,” “Keep the Flowers,” and “I Love Me.”
Tickets prices are $60 and $40 in the Grandstand. The show will be Saturday, September 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Favorite Funny Man Rob Schneider to Perform at Kansas State Fair. He is an accomplished actor, comedian, three-time Emmy nominated screenwriter and director. Special guest Byron Kennedy will open the show.
As a stand-up comic and veteran of the award-winning NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, Schneider has gone on to a successful career in films and television and continues his world-wide stand-up tour.
His TV and film credits include the NBC sitcom Men Behaving Badly and starring roles in the feature films Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, the Animal, the Hot Chick, The Benchwarmers, Grownups, The Waterboy, Little Nicky, The Longest Yard, 50 First Dates, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, animated film 8 Crazy Nights, and Netflix’s The Wrong Missy and Hubie Halloween.
Schneider is currently co-starring in Netflix’s Home Team, starring Kevin James in addition to his stand-up comedy tour. Schneider also recently completed production on the film Daddy Daughter Trip, which he produced, directed and starred in.
Byron Kennedy is a rising star in the comedy world and has been featured on Comedy Central's Roast Battle and MTV's Wild 'N Out.

After graduating college, Cooper Alan packed up and moved to Nashville where has been making waves in the country music scene with his soulful lyrics and catchy melodies. The up-and-coming country star has independently built a fanbase of over 10 million followers and has earned over 200 million streams on his music. His hit singles include “New Normal”, “Tough Ones”, “Colt 45 (Country Remix)”, “Can’t Dance”, and many more.
Frank Ray, hailing from Las Cruces, New Mexico, is a former police officer turned country singer who has been making a name for himself with his unique blend of traditional country and Latin influences. His first single with Stoney Creek Records, “Country’d Look Good On You” was the most added song on country radio by a new artist in 2021. He’s made his Grand Ole Opry debut, performed the National Anthem at a Titans game and has been named one of Pandora’s Artists to Watch 2022 as well as a CMT Next Up Now artist.

Renowned Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West will perform at the Kansas State Fair on Wednesday, September 13. He’ll be joined by up-and-coming Christian artist Anne Wilson.
Matthew West is a prolific artist, scoring 25 number one hits. He’s a five-time Grammy Award nominee and is the reigning Nashville Songwriters Association International Songwriter-Artist of the Year (putting him in the company of previous winners that include Luke Combs, Taylor Swift and Luke Bryan). His win makes him the first Christian artist to take home the honor in 20 years. In 2022, he won his 5th ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Christian Songwriter of the Year award and earned Song of the Year for “My Jesus,” which he co-wrote with Anne Wilson and Jeff Pardo.
Anne Wilson will open for West, bringing her unique transcendent vocals, and down-to-Earth storytelling style. This Lexington, Kentucky native mixes the heart of contemporary Christian music with the sound of Country. Her 2021 debut single, “My Jesus,” become a GOLD-certified No.1 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart. Wilson is currently nominated for a Grammy Award for her 2022 debut album My Jesus, has won two GMA (Gospel Music Association) Dove Awards and two K-LOVE Fan Awards, while also scoring a coveted American Music Award nomination.

Renowned hip-hop/rap legend Ja Rule will perform Saturday, September 16. The event promises to be a spectacular show, showcasing the very best of hip hop music. Ja Rule, known for his hit singles "Always on Time," "Livin' It Up," and "I'm Real," has been a staple of the music industry for over two decades. His unique blend of rap and R&B has earned him legions of fans around the world. He has multiple Billboard chart toppers and has been nominated for two American Music Awards and four Grammy Awards with respective collaborators Lil' Mo, Vita, Ashanti and Case. He’s sold more than 14.4 million units in the USA and has sold over 30 million records worldwide. Ja Rule will bring an electric, high-energy performance that the crowd will not forget.
Opening for Ja Rule will be Disco Lines. Known for his wildly popular original songs, remixes, and riotous content, Thadeus Labuszewski aka Disco Lines, is perpetually touring, bringing his contagious laugh, larger than life presence, and high energy DJ sets to the college, club, and festival circuits.
