    Pueblo Punishers Announce Exciting 2026 Schedule


     



    The Pueblo Punishers are thrilled to announce their schedule for the 2026 National Arena League (NAL) season. Punisher Nation can anticipate another action-packed season at the Southwest Motors Event Center!


    The Punishers kick off the season with a pre-season game on February 28th (opponent TBA). The home opener will be on March 7th against the Colorado Spartans. Key home matchups include games against the Dallas Bulls (March 21), Sioux City Bandits (March 28), Louisiana Rouxgaroux (April 11), and Amarillo Warbirds (May 30).

    SOBER COWBOY is a nonprofit organization and community that helps cowboys, rodeo athletes, and the western industry recover from addiction. 

    This is the THIRD ANNUAL 8 Seconds for Addiction Xtreme roughstock event, now featuring Run for Recovery 2026, which is going to be bigger and better than ever, with a two-day event, vendors, and all of the action of rodeo! Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Ranch Bronc, Bulls, Run for Recovery, Mini Bulls. Trick Riders, Kids Stick Horse Race, and more! All of the proceeds support SOBER COWBOY and our mission to help those fighting addiction in the western industry.     The 8 Seconds for Addiction Xtreme Roughstock Rodeo is back May 16th, 2026, at the Colorado State Fairgrounds — where recovery meets rodeo!


    Kick off the weekend on May 15th with the Run for Recovery Qualifier Jackpot, where the top 10 barrel racers will earn their spot in the main performance on Saturday night!


    Then on May 16th, enjoy a full day of rodeo excitement featuring Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Ranch Bronc, Bulls, Mini Bulls, and the Run for Recovery Barrel Race Finals. The show includes performances by rodeo clown JD Shultze, Top Hands Royalty, and Pueblo’s own Tuff Ingo.


    Doors open at 2:00 PM with live music from Colton James, cold Coors Edge, local vendors, a mechanical bull, and mutton bustin’ for the little cowpokes. Join the Chute Tour with The Quilted K at 4:30 PM, then bid in the Calcutta Team Auction at 5:00 PM for your chance to win when your team rides to victory!
