    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

    Dingmans Campground is a 134-site rustic campground located along the Delaware river in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWGNRA). Their location offers visitors easy access to all aspects of the nearly 70,000 acre DWGNRA, including the 32-mile McDade trail that runs through our front entrance, 40 miles of the pristine Delaware river which visitors can access through our boat launch, a short 20-minute drive to Poconos Park, and several waterfalls and historical sites located within a few miles of their entrance. 


    Visitors can select from spacious tent campsites located within old growth forest, relaxing river campsites located along the Delaware, easily accessible RV sites nestled in the forest with water and electrical hookups on-site and central dump stations located near the bathhouses. They also offer a camp general store selling snacks, supplies, and souvenirs.
