Get up-close and personal with some of art’s superstars. Explore the fractured Cubist still-lifes of Juan Gris, investigate the loose brushstrokes of the Impressionists, mold sculptures like Barbara Hepworth, discover colorful woven patterns in kente cloth by Asante artists, and more. Play with color, perspective, collage, and paint to make your own treasures and unleash the artist in you!

Spend a week thinking like an artist and a scientist as we experiment with materials, craft hypotheses, and create art. We’ll examine art that tricks your eyes, the beauty of outer space, patterns in nature, and robots that can draw. Gather data in the galleries and test your skills in the studio-lab. Investigate, and then create!

Do you like to take things apart, dream up novel inventions, doodle your imagination, or turn old scraps into new creations? Grab your hammer, glue gun, or paintbrush, and join us for a week of STEAM-inspired fun. Explore the Museum’s galleries to find inspiration from artists around the world, conduct experiments in the studio with educators from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and then work to bring your ideas to life by building, painting, drawing, and sculpting. Each camp registration includes a ticket to the Perot Museum.
