Funny Bone Comedy Club - Orlando

Stand-Up comedy is one of the hardest arts under the Sun. Here at the Orlando Funny Bone, we offer stand-up comedy classes so you could learn how to perform like the pros. Our school concludes with a graduation show where the students perform in front of a LIVE audience, which brings us to YOU! Come check out the latest batch of comedy class graduates as they perform their newly written 5 minutes of material right here on the Funny Bone stage. With a full bar and a full menu, your night is sure to be complete as we have everything you need to be entertained!

INFO ON THE CLASS:
Ever wanted to try stand-up comedy but didn’t know where to begin? Does the thought of jumping on stage in front of a live crowd intimidate you? Do you just want to become a better public speaker for your day job? Or maybe you just want to meet some cool people and get out one night a week. If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Orlando Funny Bone Comedy Classes are for you!
THE INFO IN A NUTSHELL:
Comedy Classes at The Orlando Funny Bone are a 10- 12 week course and will be on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
We study joke structure, play writing games, play act-out games, build up our five minute sets for the graduation show. We also have touring professionals come in to give lessons and answer questions.
We end our semester with a graduation show right on the main stage at The Funny Bone in front of a full crowd.

The semester is only $500 and you'll have free admission into select shows for you and your friends while in the class. The first class is free so feel free to come scope it out to see if you like it. If you do, great! If you don't, no worries you won’t owe any money. LIMITED STUDENTS PER SEMESTER. 
Past students have gone on to MTV’s Wild-n-Out, acquired over one million subscribers on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and opened for some of the biggest names on the circuit.

Using his experiences growing up in Newark, Bill Bellamy started doing stand-up while he was a student at Rutgers University. Bellamy quickly discovered how much he enjoyed making people laugh and began honing his skills at small comedy clubs around the country and was soon making waves in the New York clubs like The Improv, The Comic Strip, and at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.
In less than two years of launching his stand-up career, Bellamy earned a spot on HBO’s DEF COMEDY JAM where he notoriously coined the phrase “Booty Call.” The now famous late-night rendezvous moniker became the name for his first comedy special for Showtime; “Booty Call” and it was instantly one of the network’s top-rated specials.
Bellamy became a staple on MTV in the 90’s as one of the first “VJs” on the network. He hosted several of their programming blocks, including MTV JAMS. MTV TOP 20 COUNTDOWN and MTV BEACH HOUSE, while interviewing everyone from the late Kurt Cobain, Prince, Snoop Dogg, to Janet Jackson. In 1996, Bill landed his own late night series, “The Bill Bellamy Show.”

Originally from Mississippi, Jay regularly performs comedy all over the country and was a Staff Writer for Apple TV+'s  Emmy-nominated show, The Problem With Jon Stewart. Jay has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon three times and has also been seen on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central Featuring, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and HBO’s High Maintenance.

Jay was named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch in 2022. His album, Jay Jurden Y'all, debuted #1 on iTunes.
