    REINALDO BRAHN
    WEBSITE
    WATCH

Born in Belo Horizonte ( which means ‘beautiful horizon’), the third largest city in Brazil,  Reinaldo Brahn picked up the family guitar at age 12, curiously strummed its chords, and was hooked.  He taught himself traditional Musica Mineira, the rhythms of his native state Minas Gerais.  Gaining experience playing and singing at festivals, bars and restaurants, he worked with the renowned Brazilian vocal group Soul Makube before embarking on a solo career.  Reinaldo's experiences and collaboration with other musicians created his signature style which infuses classic Brazilian rhythms - Samba & Bossa Nova - with Funk and Jazz.

Reinaldo toured his original music throughout Brazil, and then brought his artistry to the United States.  Arriving in Charlotte, North Carolina, in October 2007, he quickly introduced his Brazilian roots to the local scene.  He creatively applies robust Brazilian style to popular American music with a truly inspiring result.  Reinaldo's specialties include singing and playing authentic Brazilian music, including Musica Popular Brasileira (MPB) and classic Sambas, as well as performing American pop songs with a strong Brazilian influence.  Veteran percussionist and producer Jim Brock refers to Reinaldo Brahn as "the new voice of Brazil".

"Since 1967 I have savored every album and recording while singing along to the incredibly melodic and mystical Irish genius of George Ivan Morrison (Van’s) musical works. I have always been taken by the spiritual intent of his writings and interesting combinations of rhythmic creativity that is uniquely Van Morrison’s signature style.

Putting together the best of the old, new, and eclectic songs of Van Morrison that spans over 6 decades of musical genius is daunting but worthwhile. Someone needed to help keep the magic and spirit of Van’s incredible musical genius alive.  I have been both blessed and honored to help do just that.

Take a ride with me through Vans collection of Blues, Soul and Rock ballads all blended in a Celtic Stew of uplifting beats, heart- felt searching for understanding, soul touching melodies, and jazzy compilations that deliver you back to a rustic Irish Pub somewhere in the countryside of Ireland where the beer, Irish whiskey and music flow warmly together until the “wee hours of the mornin”.

It has long been a passion of mine to present some of the greatest music on the planet composed and written by ‘Van the Man” Morrison. Join me in that celebration!"

    JOHNNY FOLSOM 4
    WEBSITE
    WATCH

From A Boy Named Sue to Ring of Fire to Rusty Cage, Johnny Folsom 4 is the ultimate tribute to the legendary Man in Black. While nobody really sounds like Johnny Cash, nobody sounds more like Johnny Cash than Johnny Folsom 4.

Lead singer David Burney’s lilting southern baritone delivers Cash’s classic songs so well you may well wonder from time to time if Johnny himself is in the building.

David Gresham fills the shoes of Luther and Carl Perkins on those classic guitar licks, while Randy Benefield (drums) and Steve Eisenstadt (bass) provide that hallmark, train-like rhythm the whole world knows and loves.

No Depression Magazine says “For those of us unable to have seen Cash perform during his life, this is more than a treat. It’s a time machine.” When it comes to honoring Johnny Cash, JF4 walks the line.”

This will be a wonderful evening of music by Antonia Bennett, the daughter of Tony Bennett. Antonia takes the stage to bedazzle the audience with original compositions and standards from the American songbook.

    ANTONIA BENNETT
    WEBSITE

Antonia Bennett lives her life and musical career by Duke Ellington's advice, "Number one, never give up. Number two, remember number one!" Antonia is a jazz vocalist and the daughter of legendary artist Tony Bennett. With a distinctive voice that The NewYork Times describes as "Billie Holliday and Rickie Lee Jones, with a hint of Betty Boop." Antonia is a gifted song interpreter who performs music from the Great American Songbook and her own originals.

The youngest daughter of Tony Bennett and actress Sandra Grant Bennett, Antonia grew up in Los Angeles and started singing with her father by age four. During that time, Antonia was surrounded by some of the greatest vocalists of all time, including Rosemary Clooney, EllaFitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra–known to get up and sing at her father's parties during the holidays. Antonia's passion for music grew stronger. After high school, she attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Antonia moved to New York City and, by the mid-2000s, started performing as Tony's opening act at renowned venues throughout the world: Radio City Music Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, the Newport Jazz Festival, and Royal Albert Hall in London.

In 2008, Antonia recorded "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" with her father, featured on his album "A Swingin' Christmas." In 2010, she released her own critically acclaimed EP,"Natural," produced by Holly Knight. All About Jazz praised Antonia's debut, stating the EP" introduces Bennett as a gifted interpreter of jazz classics with an impeccable and accessible vocal style.

"Her most recent album "Embrace Me," showcased ten standards from the Great American Songbook, including "All of You," "Embraceable You," "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," and"Nice Work if You Can GetIt." With this release, the songstress continued to capture the attention of critics. JazzTimes wrote, “Natalie Cole. Norah Jones. Now, Antonia Bennett can be added to the list of second-generation vocalists with the potential to rival an iconic parent's pizzazz."

Currently, Antonia is working on new music, in collaboration with other writers, that will feature her vocal prowess and songwriting skills. Antonia continues to tour with new music and jazz standards.
