On July 28, 1973, an estimated 600,000 fans converged at the Grand Prix Raceway outside Watkins Glen, New York, for a rock festival featuring the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead, and The Band. The event long held the Guinness world record for largest audience at a pop festival.

Now, come celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Watkins Glen Summer Jam with live performances by Steeln' Peaches, Unlimited Devotion, and Have Gun Will Travel.

Tampa Theatre and Live Nation Presents will welcome comedian Kurtis Conner to the Theatre’s historic stage at 7:00pm Thursday, Aug. 29.

Kurtis Conner is back on the road with his biggest project yet: The Goodfellow World Tour.  A sell-out performer, podcaster, and global YouTube sensation, Conner is bringing his freshest, funniest material yet to the stage. After studying comedy writing and performance in Toronto, Conner quickly found an audience on Vine, later migrating to YouTube and growing that audience to over 5 million subscribers worldwide.

Last year, 2023 was a banner year for Conner; he was named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch,” partnered with Just For Laughs as a featured artist and sold out theaters across Australia and New Zealand.  Conner isn’t missing a beat in 2024, embarking on his largest tour yet in theaters across the globe.

Tampa Theatre and Live Nation Presents will welcome comedian and television host Bassem Youssef to the Theatre’s historic stage at 7:30pm Friday, Sept. 20.

In Youssef’s one-of-a-kind solo comedy performance, the audience is taken on a personal journey from his career as a heart surgeon in Egypt to finding himself in the middle of the Arab Spring and becoming the host of the largest political satire show in the history of the Arab World. His jokes earned him worldwide recognition as “The Egyptian Jon Stewart,” but also got him arrested and interrogated, and ultimately prompted his escape to America just as the country was going through its very own identity crisis.

Youssef was the host of popular TV show Al Bernameg – the first political satire show in the Middle East. Originally a five-minute show on YouTube, Al Bernameg became the first online-to-TV conversion in the Middle East and the most-watched show across the region, with 30 million viewers every week and more than a million subscribers to its YouTube channel. In recognition of his success, Youssef was named among TIME magazine’s most influential list for 2013 under the “Pioneers” category, was awarded the International Press Freedom Award by the CPJ, and was chosen by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the global thinkers during the same year.

Declared by The Huffington Post as “the real hero of sitcom TV,” Patricia Williams (aka Ms. Pat) is a comedian, author, radio host, podcaster, and actress. Her critically acclaimed series The Ms. Pat Show, based on Pat’s real-life story of an inner-city drug dealer turned suburban mom, premiered its fourth season in May. The series is streaming on BET+ and Paramount+ with an edited version airing on BET linear. The premiere of the show shattered viewership records and garnered Emmy nominations in the “Outstanding Direction for a Comedy Series” category in 2022 and 2023. Tampa Theatre and Emporium Presents are proud to announce that the group that’s been called “the best Beatles tribute ever,” The Fab Four will return to Tampa Theatre’s historic stage for a stop on their USA Meets The Beatles tour at 7:30pm Saturday, Dec. 14, celebrating The Beatles’ first visit to the United States with performances from the Ed Sullivan show and the Meet The Beatles album, as well as the Beatles’ greatest hits of every era.

The Emmy Award-winning Fab Four is elevated far above every other Beatles tribute due to their precise attention to detail.
