What actions would you take if you found yourself reliving the identical day repeatedly? Phil Connors, an experienced weatherman from a big city, is less than thrilled about reporting the annual Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney, PA, a quaint small town. His haughty and skeptical demeanor clashes with the local residents’ enthusiasm, who eagerly anticipate the groundhog predicting an early spring. Following his scornful report on the groundhog’s unfavorable forecast, Phil is shocked to wake up and realize it’s February 2nd again. As he comes to terms with his predicament of experiencing the same day repeatedly, he faces a choice…

Will Phil resign himself to this endless loop, or will he muster the strength to transform himself and alter his destiny?

What makes this production even more special? This captivating performance will be staged in Woodstock, IL, the actual filming location for the movie “Groundhog Day,” at the Woodstock Opera House, famously depicted as the Pennsylvania Hotel in the film!

All the Beauty in the World: The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Me

Grieving the loss of his older brother to cancer, Patrick Bringley quit his job at the New Yorker magazine and went to work as a security guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His idea was to “stand still awhile,” to drink in the beauty all around him while directing visitors to the restrooms and the mummies, to find comfort with no thought of moving forward. The exquisite account of his ten years at the Met--including a tour of masterpieces and their creators--is a lesson in learning not “about art, but from it” as well as a meditation on finding joy in both the exalted and the mundane.

Inspired by Alexandre Dumas’ classic tale, this play is packed with valor, betrayal, thrilling escapes, and, most importantly, honor.

Set in the year 1625, the narrative kicks off with D’Artagnan, who embarks on a journey to Paris in pursuit of adventure. Accompanying him is his sister, Sabine, a definitive tomboy. Sent alongside D’Artagnan for a convent school education in Paris, she disguises herself as a boy – posing as D’Artagnan’s servant – and soon becomes wrapped up in her brother’s escapades. Shortly after their arrival in Paris, D’Artagnan crosses paths with the era’s renowned heroes – Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, the legendary musketeers. He allies with them to uphold the Queen of France’s honor, placing him at odds with Europe’s most formidable foe, Cardinal Richelieu. Yet more threatening is the notorious Countess de Winter, also known as Milady, who is determined to seek vengeance against D’Artagnan and Sabine for their interference. Unbeknownst to Milady, Sabine, the girl she underestimates, is destined to be the one who saves the day.

A vibrant and heartwarming musical comedy that revolves around the story of a high school girl named Emma, who wants to take her girlfriend to the prom in her conservative small town. However, the town’s PTA cancels the prom to prevent her from attending with her girlfriend. In comes a group of down-on-their-luck Broadway stars who, looking for a cause to revive their public images, decide to support Emma’s cause. The stars bring their theatrical flair to the small town, causing a stir but ultimately helping to challenge the town’s prejudices. Amidst the chaos, humor, and show tunes, the musical delves into themes of acceptance, love, and the importance of standing up for who you are. “The Prom” combines catchy songs, dynamic dance numbers, and a poignant story to create a celebratory and meaningful theatrical experience.

Join us in celebrating the importance of acceptance, inclusivity, and the fight for equal rights. The Prom highlights the power of allyship and the positive change that can occur when people from different backgrounds unite for a common cause, advocating for acceptance and equality in a heartwarming, entertaining, and thought-provoking manner.
