    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
THE STORY: Eve Wilfong, who lives over the “Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music Bar,” is paid a visit by her niece Catherine Empanger, a novice nun who’s been asked to leave her convent. It seems Catherine suffers from a curious compulsion to yell obscenities at the wrong moment, and even, on occasion, bark like a dog. Roy, an honest if simple fellow from the bar downstairs, wants to court Catherine whether she’s a nun or not. Eve feels she should give her niece the benefit of her experiences with men before allowing her to venture back into the mad modern country world. What follows is not simply comic and well-observed, but romantic and affecting as well. (Formerly existed as two one-act plays under the titles, TOYS FOR MEN and NICE PEOPLE DANCING TO GOOD COUNTRY MUSIC.)

Mild adult language; Discretion is advised.

A concert by a bunch of pals who love Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers wanting to honor the memory of Tom, and his timeless, artistic creation.

What we AREN'T, impersonators or a band cashing in on a tragic loss. So you won't see someone who looks like or acts like TPHB. What we guarantee you'll hear are his greatest songs performed as closely to the original releases as possible WITHOUT the aid of supplemental computer tracks in a live, high energy setting.

The Petty Junkies band is made up of professional musicians and artists who have been very successful in their own right. Well over 300 hit songs have been penned, played on, sung, or produced by the members of this band.

The audience will be asked to stay seated during rehearsal, and there will be breaks every half hour.

    SYNOPSIS
Barney Martin is dying. In fact, he's been dying for years, but now the children and grandchildren have been called back home to Rose Hill, Mississippi to say their goodbyes. As they gather at the family home, it becomes increasingly apparent that they've been led astray, in more ways than one. Forced together in a home where they each lived very different childhoods, the family members take solace in the kitchen, sifting through their grandmother's recipes and their shared pasts, and revealing their current hidden truths. It's family, and it's sickness, and it’s death, and somehow, thankfully, that also means it's comedy.
