    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Judy Collins has long inspired audiences with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism. In the 1960s, she evoked both the idealism and steely determination of a generation united against social and environmental injustices. Five decades later, her luminescent presence shines brightly as new generations bask in the glow of her iconic 55-album body of work, and heed inspiration from her spiritual discipline to thrive in the music industry for half a century.

The award-winning singer-songwriter is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell's “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Judy’s dreamy and sweetly intimate version of “Send in the Clowns,” a ballad written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music, won "Song of the Year” at the 1975 Grammy Awards. She’s garnered several top-ten hits gold- and platinum-selling albums. Recently, contemporary and classic artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, Dolly Parton, Joan Baez, and Leonard Cohen honored her legacy with the album Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins.

Judy’s most recent collaboration with her as a singer-songwriter is the 2020 television special and album Winter Stories, including critically-acclaimed Norwegian folk artist Jonas Fjeld, and masterful Americana band Chatham County Line. Winter Stories is a collection of classics, new tunes, and a few surprises, featuring spirited lead vocal turns, breathtaking duets, and Judy’s stunning harmony singing.

Judy is as creatively vigorous as ever, writing, touring worldwide, and nurturing fresh talent. She is a modern-day Renaissance woman who is also an accomplished painter, filmmaker, record label head, musical mentor, and an in-demand keynote speaker for mental health and suicide prevention. She continues to create music of hope and healing that lights up the world and speaks to the heart.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
"1964"  focuses on the quintessential moment in history, when The Beatles actually played before a LIVE audience.

The Beatles toured the world in the early 1960's, but now only a  precious few remain who actually saw them LIVE. Who actually felt the "mania" that brought them to world acclaim.

Today, all that remains are a few scant memories and some captured images in pictures and on poor quality film and video.

"1964" meticulously re-creates the "MAGIC" of those LIVE Beatles' performances with artful precision and unerring accuracy. For those that never saw The Beatles LIVE and always wanted to know what it must have been like...this is as close as anyone could possibly get to...FEELING the MAGIC!

For over 40 years, "1964" has thrilled audiences with what is considered to be the most authentic and endearing tribute to The Beatles. This has been accomplished by a steady and consistent cast of talented professional musicians, who painstakingly recreate the look, feel and note for note sound of an actual LIVE Beatles performance.

    PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
After Al Stewart’s US tour in 2019 with his band The Empty Pockets, he spent most of 2020 and 2021 sidelined due the COVID-19 pandemic. But in 2022, he came back full force with a string of sold out shows in the United States and United Kingdom, and he even made his debut in Israel.  On his curent tour, he’ll continue his trek with several shows throughout the United States.  He will be playing his old favorites, like Year Of The Cat, Time Passages, On the Border, and Modern Times, along with selections from his deep catalogue.

The Scottish-born singer-songwriter has released nearly 20 introspective and lyrically powerful records featuring brilliant backing musicians (Jimmy Page, Phil Collins, Richard Thompson, Peter White, etc.). His biggest platinum successes, “Year Of The Cat” and “Time Passages”, were released in 1976 & 1978 respectively. He’s had several top 20 singles, including the above-mentioned titles, as well as “On the Border” and “Song On The Radio”.

In Al’s own Words: “I'm just a folk singer that is interested in history and wine that got lucky with some hit records!  It's as simple as that really. I was always a huge music fan and originally, I had wanted to be Brian Jones and then Bob Dylan, but those two jobs were already taken. And in many ways, I'm still pretty much the same troubadour that I was back in 1965. I still get a kick out of hearing the Zombies, Hendrix or They Might be Giants on the radio.”

Mr. Tambourine Man not only lived history, he made history with his fearless sense of experimentation. As the leader of the influential 60s group, The Byrds, he was on the leading edge, combining the rock beat of the Beatles with the folk sensibilities of Bob Dylan, to create the genre known as “folk-rock.” His groundbreaking work on The Byrds “Sweetheart Of The Rodeo” album, is widely credited with ushering in the genre of country rock. Roger’s solo career began in 1973 and has yielded 13 albums, a Grammy nomination, and extensive touring and performing for enthralled audiences ever since.

This popular theater show is a cross generational crowd pleaser and has been selling out every theater and performing arts center where the show plays.  The band is widely celebrated and known for re-creating spot on, note-for-note re-creations of the hits, B-sides and deep album cuts from the greatest songs of the 1960’s.

In addition to the concert experience, the show is a large scale and ambitious stage production, powerfully dramatized by a combination of time travel special effects, narration, 60s archival audio and newsreel footage, and a light show. This seen-to-be-believed, bigger-than-life show is nothing less than awe-inspiring.

The Sixties Show is a high energy trip back in time that reminds the audience how uniquely inspirational, entertaining, and historically significant the music and events of the 1960s was and continues to be.

All of the music is performed live, with no samples, backing tracks or prerecorded music of any kind.

The band uses a state-of-the-art sound system but only plays authentic, 1960s period-vintage and reissue vintage gear and instrumentation, just like the original artists and original recordings. This, combined with genuine 1960s' mod attire that the band wears, only adds to the meticulous detail and authenticity of this popular and powerful theater show.

    Live From Laurel Canyon
THE STORY | The Birth of a Rock & Roll Neighborhood

"Live from Laurel Canyon - Songs and Stories of American Folk Rock" is an evening of live music and narrated stories of some of the most influential songwriters who lived in Laurel Canyon in the mid 1960's and 70's.   Similar to other legendary rock and roll neighborhoods of the same era like Haight Ashbury in San Francisco or Greenwich Village in NYC, Laurel Canyon was a community of artists who would forge a new genre of music (Folk Rock) and forever change the look, sound and attitude of American pop music.   Live from Laurel Canyon celebrates The Mamas and The Papas, the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash, Neil Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, America, and the Eagles with their own unique interpretations of some of the most iconic songs of the era.

Much more than a 'tribute' act, Live from Laurel Canyon not only performs the music you love in a new and unique way but shares with you the stories that inspired them.  Live from Laurel Canyon is a journey through a special time in American pop music... won't you join us?
