Visit the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) headquarters at the northwest corner of the National Mall! USIP’s monthly open houses are a chance to learn more about conflict management, explore the institute’s iconic headquarters building, and meet USIP staff who work on peacebuilding around the world. Aligned with Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the May 2024 USIP Open House will feature peacebuilding in East Asia and the Pacific Islands.

Visitors can:

Get to know USIP’s iconic headquarters through self-guided tours

Join “Storytelling on the National Mall” sessions at 10:30AM, 11:30AM, and 3PM to hear personal stories from Institute staff about working on peacebuilding in East Asia and the Pacific Islands

Explore resources and multimedia exhibitions on peacebuilding
