Visit the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) headquarters, a public, nonpartisan organization located at the northwest corner of the National Mall! USIP’s monthly open houses are a chance to learn more about conflict management, explore the institute’s iconic headquarters building, and meet USIP staff who work on peacebuilding around the world.
The April Open House will feature how USIP and others work for peace in Ukraine. Visitors can attend:
“Storytelling on the National Mall” sessions at 11:30AM, 1:30PM, and 3PM to hear personal stories from Institute staff about working on the war in Ukraine.
“Unissued Diplomas,” an exhibition highlighting the stories of young Ukrainians who have lost their lives in the war.
