DESCRIPTION
Travel by train to this premier collection and property of Western Reserve Historical Society! Located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Hale Farm & Village is an outdoor living history museum. Here you will experience daily mid-19th century life depicted through dozens of historic structures, farm animals, heritage gardens, cooking presentations and demonstrations of Early American craft and trades. You'll board the train at the Akron Northside Station then a tram will meet you at the Indigo Lake Station, where you will travel to historic Hale Farm & Village. Masks are required indoors.
The National Park Service (NPS) has closed portions of the tracks used by Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) due to significant erosion from the Cuyahoga River.
All National Park Scenic, Fall Flyer, Bike Aboard, Hale Farm, Explorer Program, and Family Fun Loop departures have been cancelled for Wednesday, October 19 through the end of the season on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

TIMING OF EVENT:
11:00 a.m. - Depart Akron Northside Station
11:30 a.m. - Arrive at Indigo Lake/ Hale Farm *tram picks up passengers and takes to Hale Farm
2:10 p.m. - Board train to head south to Akron *tram returns passengers to train boarding location
2:20 p.m. - Arrive back at Akron Northside Station
