About the Artist:
Josh Johnson is an Emmy-nominated writer, stand-up comedian, actor, and NAACP award-winner from Louisiana by way of Chicago. He was just named as the newest correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy & Peabody Award-winning program The Daily Show where he was previously a writer for the past six years. Johnson is also a former writer and performer on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he made his late-night debut in 2017. In addition, he is Comedy Central’s ‘most watched comedian ever’ with 40M+ views to date across their platforms. 
As a stand-up, Johnson headlines theaters, clubs, colleges, and festivals around the world. Some of his popular work includes his nine-series skit titled “Thawt in my House,” and mom and grand-mom impersonations, which maintained his popularity because many people can relate to the situations. It was the “Mr James”(Sugardaddy) character that proved as one of Brooks first major breaks online. This character has thrust Brooks into very deserved spotlight and helped him gain national attention and a bigger following.
The 28-year-old comedian started out doing comedy simply because he enjoyed it and it was fun to do in his spare time. Little did he know his skits and jokes were making a difference in other’s lives. He started receiving direct messages from fans who watch him daily expressing how his videos got them through a rough time, or simply brightened their day. This became his motivation to write and perform more often. About the Artist:
Martin Amini is a stand up comic based in Los Angeles, California and born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. Martin’s stand up material touches on what’s it’s like growing up mixed in America coming from a Bolivian and Iranian background. After making his tv debut on Laff Tracks on TruTv, Martin filmed his stand up special “Son of An Ice Cream Man” at The Kennedy Center in 2020.Martin has gone on to build a loyal following on social media and can be seen headlining shows across the country.
