Return to "the good old days," when your biggest worry was homework and if Bif would ask you to the homecoming dance after the big game. Let's do it all over again, but with booze (the legal way) and a photo booth. No peach wine coolers, either.

Popular Portland-based party band Radical Revolution will again be your live entertainment, and they're all about ‘80s rock and perfecting the "classics" of yesteryear.

So gather up the day-glo, lycra, parachute pants, and puffy-sleeved dresses and get tickets to join us. Random prizes handed out to best dressed which will include, gift cards, flowers, tiaras, crowns, and more!

History Slam is a fast-paced history competition where Portland State University students have only three minutes to present their theses to a distinguished panel of judges for the ultimate prize as PSU History Slam winner! Be a part of the live audience, hear a wide variety of history research topics, and experience the excitement as PSU history majors battle it out for monetary prizes* and eternal glory. Who wants to be a historian?  

 *Grand prizes will be presented at PSU History Department's year-end ceremony, on June 14^th, 2024.
