Biography:
What do you call a group of psychedelic songsters all grown up? A group who were often considered the younger sibling, who have come into their own? Artists who just released their best piece of work yet, and musicians who unleashed one of the rowdiest and strongest live touring sets 2014 witnessed? You call them POND.

2014 unveiled the full-formed POND and the Northern Hemisphere barely survived. POND supported the Arctic Monkeys throughout Australia and then jumped on the next plane to Europe. There, POND stunned audiences at Primavera Spain + Portugal, UK festival Field Day, and brought the house down, every night, across their UK/EU headlining tour. Touring with Nick Allbrook (Vocals / Guitar / Astronaut), Jay Watson (Drums / Vocals / Dad Jokes), Joseph Ryan (Guitar / Bass / Vocals / Actual spaceman), Jamie Terry (Keys / Good vibes) and with barely a breather between, POND tore through North America, with sell-out shows ranging from one coast to the next, bouncing between countries like a pogo-stick. Pond's 6th album "Man, It Feels Like Space Again" hit the shelves January 23 (AUS) / January 26 (UK/EU) / January 27 (US) 2015, with more festivals and headline tours booked around the globe to showcase the new tunes and support this stellar album release.

Biography:
While others imitate, BowieVision elevates. Forgoing the pretense of wigs and makeup and focusing instead on interpreting David Bowie’s eclectic and expansive musical catalog, BowieVision raises the bar for what a tribute band can be. In fact, a BowieVision performance is better described as a celebration than a tribute. While lead singer Stefan Mitchell’s dynamic vocals and sense of showmanship are impressive enough, he also shares Bowie’s rare gift for connecting with an audience by creating an atmosphere that’s simultaneously epic and intimate, an approach that resonates with audiences on a deeper level than mere impersonation ever could.

Members of Northwest lounge-pop mainstays the Dudley Manlove Quartet and electronica band Purr Gato joined forces in 2013 to share their love of Bowie’s music with audiences in Seattle and beyond. Combining deft musicianship, masterful stage presence, and stunning lighting and video effects, BowieVision brings a concert-magnitude experience to every size venue, putting its unique stamp on rock anthems like Rebel Rebel and Suffragette City; the wide-screen balladry of Life on Mars?, Space Oddity, and Changes; mid-70s “plastic soul” (Golden Years, Young Americans, Fame;) art-pop experiments like Fashion, Heroes, and Ashes to Ashes; and the high-sheen Eighties classics Let’s Dance, China Girl, and Blue Jean.

Although Bowie’s personas have been ever-changing, his music is timeless. It’s this realization that elevates BowieVision above the realm of trite nostalgia. It may be a bold statement to make about a “tribute” band, but it’s a fact: BowieVision is the real deal. Accept no imitations.

Biography:
Born in Washington, D.C., to a Sudanese father and an African-American mother, Amir Mohamed grew up in Maryland, influenced by soul and rap as well as myriad musicians on both sides of his family. He was all set to attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia to pursue visual art when a friend of his introduced him to hip-hop production. He was so enamored of it that he changed his plans and concentrated on making beats, ending up with the track "Musik Lounge" on DJ Jazzy Jeff's 2002 record Magnificent. Part of the Low Budget crew, which included fellow D.C.-area MCs and producers Kenn Starr, Cy Young, and Kev Brown, Oddisee released his solo debut Foot in the Door, mixed by Jazzy Jeff, on Halftooth in 2006. His 2010 effort, Traveling Man, found him signing with the Mello Music Group, where he remained for 2012's album People Hear What They See. In 2015, he returned with The Good Fight, an effort driven by social commentary and retro soul, and 2016 saw the release The Odd Tape -- an all-instrumental mixtape that was issued around the same time as his free download EP Alwasta. ~ Marisa Brown
