A lover of all styles of music, Michael Glaser is a world-class drummer, singer, and instructor who has opened for groups such as St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Counting Crows, and much more. A 1992 Davidson College alum, Glaser performs many styles such as jazz, rock, country, afro beat, New Orleans, klezmer, and theater, and will be joining the Davidson College Jazz Ensemble for a guest artist concert you do not want to miss!

Urban Bush Women’s uniquely bold and boundary-pushing storytelling weaves contemporary dance, music, and text with the history, culture, and spiritual traditions of African-Americans and the African Diaspora. Hair & Other Stories is crafted from personal narratives gathered in kitchens, living rooms, and from social media and will leave you wondrously and often humorously disquieted regarding the nature of our current society.
