SS Edmund Fitzgerald was an American Great Lakes freighter that sank in a Lake Superior storm on November 10, 1975, with the loss of the entire crew of 29. When launched on June 7, 1958, she was the largest ship on North America's Great Lakes, and she remains the largest to have sunk there. A deep-felt tragedy in Michigan history, the event inspired Gordon Lightfoot to compose his tribute “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald." The tragedy is told in story and song through the characters involved—the captain, the crew, the widows, the owners. This docudrama is a compelling inquiry into questions still unanswered today. TEN NOVEMBER will provide a loving, heart-felt evening to all Michiganders.

Everything is perfectly arranged—the gown, the guests, the reception—all ready to come off without a single difficulty. Oops, there’s ONE SLIGHT HITCH: the bride-to-be’s former boyfriend, a wandering vagabond, drops in just to chat with his old girlfriend—for old times’ sake—ya know what we mean. As you expect in any self-respecting farce, everything possible goes wrong: shocks, surprises, disappointments, and just a bit more understanding than expected. There’s an underlying surprise in this comedy: elements of touching truth and unexpected warmth find their ways in and out of this delightful show. Mature teens and adults. PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Tickets on sale December 6th.
