Grace Potter is a Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and internationally acclaimed rock musician from Waitsfield, Vermont. She formed Grace Potter & the Nocturnals in 2002 and toured extensively. After signing with major record label Hollywood Records, Potter and her band went on to release four full-length studio albums: Nothing But The Water (2006), This is Somewhere (2007), Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (2010), and The Lion The Beast The Beat (2012), with the latter two both debuting in the Top 20 of the Billboard charts. Potter also duetted with country singer Kenny Chesney on the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling hit “You and Tequila” in 2010.

Potter has played every major US music festival, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo, and shared the stage with legendary artists such as The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, and Mavis Staples. Her 2015 album, Midnight, was released to critical acclaim, debuting at #17 on the Billboard 200 chart. Potter released her latest album Daylight (Fantasy) in 2019, garnering two Grammy nominations. Described by Spin as “one of the greatest living voices in rock today” and by SF Weekly as “the whole package,” Potter continues to impress both critics and audiences with her musical achievements and captivating live shows. Potter has plans to release new music and tour extensively in 2023, as well as continue to pursue her passion for filmmaking, podcasting, and writing.

Kiss the Tiger

At a time when the world seems intent on pushing us further inward and further apart, Kiss the Tiger are here to rattle our bones and bust us out of our cocoons with some good old-fashioned rock and roll. Fronted by the magnetic and disarming Meghan Kreidler, this is a band that doesn’t just play. They combust.

Shakey Graves & Lucius with special guest Mike Kota. This event is part of Sparkyard Sound Series at Bauhaus Brew Labs presented by 89.3 The Current.

About Shakey Graves:

Shakey Graves Is A Gentleman From Texas.

About Lucius:

Acclaimed indie-pop band Lucius has been turning heads since the start, thanks to their irrepressibly catchy songs and bold aesthetic. Formed by Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, the Los Angeles group got rolling with their 2013 debut album Wildewoman, which Rolling Stone hailed for "an updated’ 60s girl-group sound at once fresh and thrilling". Lucius shifted the focus on 2016Good Grief with moodier songs, before taking a break from the studio to join Roger Waters on his Us + Them Tour in 2017-18. Lucius returned in 2022 with the dance-ready collectionSecond Nature, which features singles Next to Normal”, one of NPR Music' s top songs of the year and Dance Around It” the pulsing song with Sheryl Crow and Brandi Carlile. In addition to their own work, the GRAMMY-nominated Wolfe and Laessig are singers in demand: their voices have graced songs by a host of other artists, including Carlile, The War on Drugs, John Legend, Harry Styles, Jeff Tweedy and Ozzy Osbourne.

About Mike Kota:

Mike Kota is singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Minneapolis. Her thoughtful lyrics and soulful melodies draw influence from the likes of King Krule, Bon Iver, and Pinegrove. With a sound much bigger than she looks, Kota delivers a passionate performance through dissonant chords, electric guitar, and haunting vocals.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones with special guests Elizabeth Moen and Jaedyn James. This event is part of Sparkyard Sound Series at Bauhaus Brew Labs presented by 89.3 The Current.

About St. Paul & The Broken Bones:

Founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 2011, St. Paul & the Broken Bones consists of Paul Janeway (vocals), Jesse Phillips (bass), Browan Lollar (guitar), Kevin Leon (drums), Al Gamble (keyboards), Allen Branstetter (trumpet), Chad Fisher (trombone), and Amari Ansari (saxophone). The eight-piece ensemble burst into the world with their 2014 debut Half the City, establishing a sound that quickly became a calling card and landing the band a slew of major festivals including Lollapalooza, Coachella and Glastonbury. Critical praise from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, SPIN and NPR followed, leading to shared stages with some of the world’s biggest artists—Elton John and The Rolling Stones among them—and launching an impressive run of headlining tours behind what Esquire touted as a "potent live show that knocks audiences on their ass. ” The group has continued to expand their sound with every record, branching out well beyond old-school soul into sleek summertime funk and classic disco on albums like 2018's Young Sick Camellia. Their newest LP, Angels in Science Fiction (released April 21, 2023), stretches their limbs further afield, building on the shadowy psychedelia and intricate, experimental R&B of 2022’s The Alien Coast.

About Elizabeth Moen:

Elizabeth Moen is a guitarist, singer-songwriter based in Chicago, IL. Moen blends fierce, massive vocals and raw bluesy guitar with introspective lyrics and electronic textures. Paste Magazine says “The kind of live show you could dance & move to even if you didn’t know a lick of lyrics ... one to watch out for on the road.”

About Jaedyn James:

"A tender-hearted hand grenade with a secret desire to pull her own pin." Jaedyn James' live performances are empowering, engaging and invite you into the deepest parts of her soul. James’ sound is best described as Bold Midwest Soul influenced by Etta, Janis, Prince, Alanis and Amy Winehouse.
