A FREE fiber arts workshop with Afro-Caribbean female artist Kandy G. Lopez. This workshop will focus on identity and experimentation of materials using plastic canvas and thread to create portraits or other representation of identity.

WRITER’S CLINIC - Understanding the Process of Fiction Beginning to End

This FREE clinic is presented by the Louise Bennett-Coverley Heritage Council (LBCHC) for middle and high school students.  It is an excellent opportunity to provide aspiring fiction writers the skills to develop a story plot and construct an outline to take the story from an idea to an interesting book from the beginning to the closing chapter.  Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from LBCHC.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Little Broadway is a eight-week visual and performing arts camp for students ages 6-13, with professional teaching artists that culminates in an on-stage public performance showcase of the student's hard work. The camp is inclusive of a non-refundable 4% registration fee, cultural field trips, tee shirt, use of instruments, art supplies & materials and before & after care.

June 12 - August 4, 2023
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Before Care starting at 7:45 AM
After Care until 6:00 PM

Suitable for children ages 6-13 

Payment plan available:

$1,350 for Miramar Residents* (Includes 4% non-refundable registration fee of $54.00)

•         1st payment due: $432.00 - due by April 5 (plus 3% card processing fee)

•         2nd payment due: $432.00  – due by May 5 (plus 3% card processing fee)

•         3rd payment (final): $432.00 – due by June 5 (plus 3% card processing fee)

$1,610 for Non-Residents (Includes 4% non-refundable registration fee of $64.40)

*To qualify for the Resident rate, proof of City of Miramar residency is required to be submitted before start of camp.
