Ballet Etudes of South Florida proudly presents its 49th Anniversary performance of The Nutcracker with international guest stars and dancers from the South Florida community on Saturday, December 16th. The magical production from Ballet Etudes Company features lavish sets and scenery, colorful costuming, exquisite lighting, superb choreography, and delightful theatrical effects. Ballet Etudes of South Florida's Nutcracker production is under the direction of Founder & General Director Susana Prieto and Artistic Directors Dagmar Moradillos and Peter La Fox.

Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines K-8 presents an evening of music, dance and theater.  Our show will culminate with the production of Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr.

Ilan Chester es uno de los exponentes más notables de la música contemporánea en la lengua hispana. Nacido en Israel en el año 52, de padres europeos, Ilan emigró a Venezuela en el año 53, donde sus tendencias musicales se hicieron evidentes, cuando con apenas 3 años de edad podía tocar en el piano melodías judaicas, francesas e italianas que se escuchaban en casa. Esta música que asimiló en casa, sumada a la influencia de la música clásica, la música Venezolana, la Caribeña, la música Inglesa, así como también la que produjo el sello Motown a comienzos de los años 60, formaron el oído del joven músico, quien con el tiempo, desarrolló una manera muy personal de componer, cantar y de tocar los teclados. Después de formar parte de varios grupos y generar varias producciones musicales, es en el año 1983 que Ilan, quien para ese tiempo vivía en Londres, trae a Venezuela “Canciones De Todos Los Días”, un trabajo discográfico que contiene una gran variedad de canciones excepcionales que invaden las emisoras de radio en Venezuela, ganándose así, en poco tiempo el reconocimiento del título: “El músico de Venezuela.” Es a partir de este trabajo que empieza una carrera muy exitosa que lo lleva a recorrer varios países de habla hispana. Ilan ha generado más de 30 producciones musicales y ha realizado cientos de shows en 40 años de carrera.

The 'Diamond Princess', Trina, will be joining Orchestra Noir, Atlanta’s acclaimed all-black orchestra for a one night only concert. To celebrate the 50th year anniversary of hip-hop, conductor, Maestro Jason Ikeem Rodgers will lead the orchestra in bringing Trina’s biggest hits, along with other famed hip-hop anthems to life with live orchestral instruments through this high energy concert event.
