This is me,” says Priscilla Block. “Love it or leave it.”

It’s that kind of attitude towards life, and her fearless music-making, that has made the rising country star one of the genre’s most exciting new artists and one of its most authentic and relatable voices. One part endless party, one part unmitigated honesty, and one part best friend who always gives it to you straight, even when it hurts, Priscilla’s debut album, Welcome to the Block Party, finds an artist who is redefining ‘three chords and the truth’ for an entirely new generation.

Though she came to prominence in 2020, Priscilla’s rise has been years in the making, full of hard work, long hours, and country grit. Originally from Raleigh, NC, she moved to Nashville to pursue music shortly after high school after being encouraged by her mom to pick up the guitar when she found one in the attic of the house she shared with her four siblings. “I auditioned for every single singing show,” she remembers with a laugh. “Then as soon as I could leave town, I packed my bags and moved to Nashville.”

Nothing went right at first: her house was broken in to more than once, and she wasn’t yet old enough to even get into bars to perform or attend songwriting rounds– it was discouraging to say the least. It was while working at a yogurt shop, taking classes in the evening, and reaching what she thought may be her final straw of misfortune in town, when things suddenly changed: Taylor Swift drove by, spotting Pricilla wearing one of her shirts, she pulled over. “Taylor was like, ‘hey, I love your shirt so much, thanks for supporting me,’” Priscilla remembers fondly. “I went to class that night and I decided that I really needed to give music a proper shot. I quit my job and school that night.”

Soon after, Priscilla signed her record deal and was on her way to making a self-titled EP, followed by her first full-length album: Welcome to the Block Party, named for how she refers to her signature sound of country pop and southern rock that is as rowdy as it can be tender and confessional.

Since “Just About Over You,” her fans have waited patiently for her own full-length debut. That time has come: Welcome to the Block Party is the perfect meeting place for both listeners new and old, with Priscilla showing multiple sides of her artistry but never abandoning what fans fell in love with from the very beginning.  Hilarious and brazenly honest (“I’ve been eating carbs since ’95,” she sings) “Thick Thighs” offered a perspective far too unheard of in the land of manicured celebrity, and it was an overnight success. Her blunt – and twangily infectious – lyrics helped Priscilla amass not only a huge social media following but a growing and dedicated fanbase as well.

David Nail’s candor cuts like a laser through star-making propriety, a ritual of predictable answers to predictable questions, recited by artists averse to the controversy that truth can bring.

True, he is respected up and down and beyond Music Row. He’s written or co-written multiple hits. Critics laud his singing too: The late, revered Chuck Dauphin, for one, marveled at Nail’s ability to turn an “ordinary lyric and arrangement” into a “tour de force,” adding, “simply put… he is not one of us.”

In Nail’s own words, “My philosophy has always been, I just hope to have a good enough year that I can have a next year while staying as true to myself as I possibly can.”

About Tyler Braden:

If ever there was a Country artist ready to set the world on fire, it would have to be Tyler Braden. He has the gritty powerhouse vocal, the expressive pen and the ability to deliver a lyric with complete conviction worthy of a headliner. Braden grew up in Slapout, AL, with parents who fostered an early appreciation for Country music, guitar-playing songwriters filling the airwaves, and a group of rock-loving friends. His early twenties saw him playing local shows and touring the Southeast while serving as a first responder in Montgomery, AL, and then continued firefighting in the suburbs of Nashville while preparing to take his music career to the next level. With more than 85.5 MILLION streams already to his name and a growing list of major tour credits, he introduced himself to world as a major label recording artist with his take on NEEDTOBREATHE’s hit “Brother.” Praised for his “commanding delivery” (MusicRow), Braden offered the song as a tribute to his first responder family and all those fighting on the frontlines during the pandemic. To date, he’s earned massive fan response from original releases including “Love Is A Dead End Road,” “Secret," “What Do They Know,” "Ways To Miss You," and most recently “Try Losing One.” Braden’s Warner Music Nashville debut EP WHAT DO THEY KNOW (WDTK) is out now.

Blurring the lines between Country and hip-hop music, Blanco Brown makes a southern sound that he proudly calls “TrailerTrap.” It’s a boundary-breaking, multicolored genre of his very own – which draws upon the rawness and storytelling abilities of his two biggest musical influences, Johnny Cash and Outkast. His debut album, Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs, shows off the full range of its creator, who juggled multiple roles as the project’s songwriter, producer, vocalist, visionary, and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, harmonica, lap steel, spoons, tambourine, to name a few). Since 2014, Blanco has been honing in on his unique sound, which is a mix of countrified influences and street-smart lingo, that balances both the urban and rural settings in which he grew up. His viral hit “The Git Up” (certified 11x PLATINUM across three countries) took the world by storm, claiming the top spot in charts across the global and spawning nearly four billion views across social platforms. It claimed the No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for 12 weeks and was the top-selling digital Country song in the US for 13 weeks resulting in Billboard naming him as their No. 1 Top New Country Artist for 2019. In addition to being named Billboard’s “7 Country Acts to Watch in 2019,” the Georgia native is a background singer, artist and Grammy-nominated engineer who has worked with big name talent including Fergie, Childish Gambino, Kane Brown and Chris Brown. The multi-talent’s multi-national Platinum-certified collaboration “Just the Way” with Parmalee is currently in the Top 20 on Hot AC and has garnered more than 200 million on-demand streams in the US alone, also marking Brown’s first No. 1 hit on Country radio (peaking at No. 1 in the US and Canada). No stranger to collaborations, Blanco recently collaborated with Nelly and Breland for their funky fun “High Horse,” and Never Gonna Tame You (Original Song from “The Mustangs: America’s Wild Horses”),” written by Diane Warren. In September 2020 Brown was in a life-threatening accident and has been recovering, leaning on creating music to heal-the first taste of that is “Nobody’s More Country,” available now.

Direct Support: King Calaway

Named as one of the seven new Country acts to watch out for by Billboard, King Calaway has been taking the Country music industry by storm ever since their 2019 debut album, Rivers. Performing on national TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel, The Late Late Show with James Corden, TODAY, The Kelly Clarkson Show and the internationally acclaimed show Neighbours to making their Grand Ole Opry debut, the band has opened for Country music icon Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Lainey Wilson, Gabby Barrett and Scotty McCreery. Most recently, the “rising Country band” (Country Now) joined forces with the award-winning Zac Brown as their producer on brand new music, including “When I Get Home” that the guys performed with Zac Brown at Nissan Stadium during this year’s CMA Fest as well as the high-energy track “I’m Feelin’ Good (Steve Miller Band).” The band will join both Blanco Brown and Dustin Lynch on tours this fall and will have more Zac Brown produced new music early next year.

In the proudly independent Texas-country scene, it’s not easy to separate yourself – or to evolve once you have. But for almost 15 years, William Clark Green has done both with a nod to his home state itself, both rooted in the past and barreling toward the future.

Boasting sandpaper vocals and country-rock sound at the crossroads of back-alley grit and gravel-road grace, the Flint, Texas, native emerged like many others before – sauntering out from Lubbock’s live music loving college-bar scene. But he has since carved a space that is uniquely his own. Pairing singer-songwriter tradition with a progressive musical mindset, he’s both a troubadour of troubled souls and maestro to lyrical mischief, renowned for underdog anthems filled with sardonic wit, vivid characters and even historical curiosity.

Over five previous albums, multiple Number Ones on Texas Regional Radio have joined iTunes Country Album chart toppers, the respect of critics and peers and a vibrant touring profile anchored on Texas’ biggest stages. But even after so much success, two years of treading water left Green looking to get beyond his comfort zone.

“My whole mentality is that if my voice went out tomorrow, or I lost my arm and my career ended, I’ve got nothing but gratefulness,” Green explains, flashing his signature sense of dark humor. “But in some ways, we wanted to reach and see what else is out there. I think the band is ready, I think I’m ready, and it’s not really about money or anything. It’s about feeling that high again, feeling that new-ness.”

Returning with Baker Hotel, his sixth studio album and first in almost four years, Green goes after that new-ness with an open mind, and the thoughtful approach of roots-rock poet. Just as each album before it, he continues mixing Lone-Star mythos into his storytelling, this time occupying an abandoned monument to the past in Mineral Wells, Texas. But as he hinted above, Baker Hotel takes his craft to new heights.

“Songwriting is such a weird deal for me, because everything I write about is true,” Green admits. “What this record means to me is self-reflection, realizing that I just turned 35 and it’s like ‘Where am I at in life? Where do I want to be? Where did I think I would be?’ Not being able to work, I had a lot of time to sit and think about myself, and what’s really locking me down, and that’s what I think this record is about.”

No, it’s no small feat to grow while staying true to who you are … and for a proud Texan, true to where you’ve been. But if the last year-plus has taught him anything, it’s that the future is uncertain – so live fearlessly and blaze new trails while you can. “I’m so fired up to go, its ‘Like let’s see where the road leads?’” he says. “I don’t have any kind of constraints, and that is bad ass.”

Opening Act: Ben Chapman

Originally from LaFayette, GA, Ben Chapman is a Nashville-based artist/songwriter who has garnered early attention for his soulful voice and country-blues guitar playing. He is heavily influenced by the sounds of the 70’s, pairing groove-driven music of bands like the Allman Brothers with compelling, pithy lyrics akin to those of Guy Clark and Roger Miller, cooking up a tasty serving of country jam band ear candy.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
LRH Live and B105 Presents Bailey Zimmerman on Saturday, November 5th. This is an 18+ show.

Establishing himself as one of music’s most exciting new voices, Bailey Zimmerman strikes a sweet spot between timeless American country, rafter-rattling arena rock, and authentic storytelling. It’s why in just one year’s time, he’s already logged over 400 million global streams, notched two entries on the Billboard Hot 100, and immediately sold out his first headline tour. Growing up in the small town of Louisville, IL, Zimmerman embraced country music on long-haul truck rides with his dad, and 80’s hair rock at home with his mom. By the time he hit high school, Zimmerman learned old school American values of hard work and dependability through a gig at the local meat market and long hours on a union gas pipeline.

Simultaneously, he discovered his natural musical talent and began to sing whenever there was a guitar nearby. After a garage-recorded demo of his song “Never Comin’ Home” amassed over a million plays overnight, he turned in his union card to fulfill a growing demand for new music. Zimmerman fueled his meteoric rise with anthemic singles including, “Fall In Love”, “Rock and A Hard Place”, and “Where It Ends”. Now, this young artist with the rasp of a seasoned rocker and the heart of a sensitive songwriter has arrived at the cusp of superstardom as he readies his forthcoming debut for Warner Music Nashville/Elektra Records.

A native of small-town Kentucky, early touchstones like Dwight Yoakam, Steve Earle and John Fogerty joined Wheelhouse Records’ Elvie Shane’s Gospel roots to form the bedrock of his taste –along with R&B classics like The Temptations and modern superstars like Eminem.

Shane’s new single “County Roads” is officially available at country radio now, and was one of the most addedsongs at country radio upon release. Co-written by Shane with Dan Couch and Oscar Charles, the new single is full of untamed energy, flying like an unguided missile of passion down “County Roads” and paints a picture of Shane’s early days in Grayson County, KY.

Shane just celebrated multiple milestones with his hit single “My Boy” topping the charts at country radio and being certified GOLD by the RIAA. “My Boy” is taken from Shane’s just-released debut full length album BACKSLIDER. Shane co-wrote the set that embodies the crunchy hooks of classic rock, the nostalgia of country music as well as the emotional electricity of Gospel and R&B. Critics have already been quick to praise the cohesive set with the album landing on 2021 “Best Of” lists includingBillboard, Rolling StoneandNashville Scene. "If you listen to just one major-label debut by a dude this year, consider Elvie Shane’s” declared Rolling Stone, while Stereogum noted the record “forces you to rethink anything you think you know, or assume, about the genre’s Music Row bros.”Billboard also determined Shane is "making the case for a new mainstay in country music.”

The singer/songwriter just announced he will launch his first-ever headlining run, with his MY KINDA TROUBLE TOUR set to kick off on 2/17 in Chattanooga, TN. The multi-city stint will see Shane play major cities including Chicago, IL, Nashville,TN and more, and will mark some of Shane’s first live performances of BACKSLIDER.Shane's picture-based lyrics and knack for storytelling lead to his signing with UTA and he has since opened for Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brothers Osborne Brett Young andLady A, to name a few. Shane also just wrapped a stint on the road opening for Brooks & Dunn on their 2021 Reboot Tour.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

From working on the farm as a child, to co-writing Kelsea Ballerini’s hit “Dibs” to honing his own music, Ryan Griffin has always been about blending pure talent with good old hard work and tireless dedication. And, since arriving in Nashville from Florida at seventeen, he’s also always been about guiding his career equally from the gut and the heart. Since his top-streaming song “Woulda Left Me Too” introduced him as a singer with an unusually empathetic hand (and garnered millions of plays on Spotify), Griffin has been working to release music that finds his unique niche between R&B and country, and between fun and true vulnerability. And now, with three new busbee-produced tracks and more on the horizon, Griffin has never been more ready for this moment.

“I’ve never felt more true to myself than I have with this music,” says Griffin. “These songs have never felt so right.” Indeed, “Best Cold Beer,” “Good Company” and “Play It By Heart” are pure Griffin: they’re fun, as soulful and groovy as they are twangy, and uniquely perceptive, packed with razor-sharp insights about living and loving.

One evening his father – who also loved Jimmy Buffett – took him to a local country festival, and Griffin’s future suddenly became clear: “I got to see Kenny Chesney and Alan Jackson and all of these dudes,” Griffin remembers. “That’s when I realized this is what I want to do.”

A little boy who would hum melodies almost before he could talk, Griffin was always a musical kid, but his father, who raised two more sports-focused sons before him, didn’t know quite what to do with him. So, one day, he pulled out the phone book.

“He said ‘I’m going to call everyone who has something to do with music and find out what to do with this kid’,” Griffin remembers. “He sat there for hours and there was finally this dude who answered the phone, and he had a studio in his garage which was kind of unheard of. My pops said, ‘alright we’ll be there this week.'”

Griffin went in and recorded a little demo, and that was it. He spent the rest of his teenage years opening for the likes of Neil McCoy and Highway 101, and playing any stage he could. Then, at seventeen, he finally followed his dreams to Nashville, enrolling at Belmont University, first in the voice program and then, afraid all the training would massage the character form his sound, in the Music Business program. And, like most promising graduates, he hit all the milestones: he won the country music showcase, played the Best of the Best, and scored an internship at Broken Bow that saw him hitting the road to help tour manage Jason Aldean.

But it still didn’t all come easy after that: bouncing through a label and a publishing deal, Griffin sometimes wondered if this creative life was becoming too much of a hardship for his young family – but it was his wife who told him to stay the path and keep pursuing his dreams. So in 2017, he released his EP, Sake of the Summer, with “Woulda Left Me Too” now topping five million streams – and “Dibs” going to number one.

Having already opened for the likes of Ballerini, Lady Antebellum and Old Dominion, Griffin will take these songs on the road this summer at select festival dates while he hones his record. One of Rolling Stone’s 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know he’s also been highlighted on 2018 Ones to Watch lists by AOL, AXS, Country Fancast, NY Country Swag, PopDust and Thought Catalog – and all as a result of keeping his eye on his ultimate goal, no matter the circumstances.

About HunterGirl HunterGirl is a country singer/songwriter originally from Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee. She began performing in her grandfather’s church at age three, and started writing songs at age nine. At the age of eleven, she moved with her family to Winchester, Tennessee and started performing at her local church and competing in various singing competitions.  In her early teens, she started performing at venues across the United States, and won the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown at age fifteen. After graduating high school, she moved to Nashville and immediately started playing her signature Ovation guitar at gigs in downtown venues such as Tootsie’s, Rippy’s, Crazy Town, Jason Aldean’s Bar, The Listening Room, and HonkyTonk Central, while also earning her college degree at Middle TN State University’s Music Business School.

With all her accomplishments and having just turned twenty-three, HunterGirl is on track to be the next big female artist from Music City. Her talent, tenacity, and heart of gold, make her a good bet to deliver hit songs for years to come.

About Noah Thompson: People pulled for Noah Thompson when the Kentucky-born construction worker couldn’t
pull for himself. Some dreams simply seem out of reach when the limitations of growing up in a small town and the responsibilities of a one-year-old named Walker, make superstardom seem distant and meant for someone else. But America believed wholeheartedly in what Thompson
couldn’t imagine for himself. The current American Idol winner embodies the spirit of Country music: overcoming adversity and the odds to achieve widespread acclaim and the hearts of millions. This is more than a CinderNoah story; this is the culmination of an “American (Idol) Dream.” Before he was performing for 2.5 million television viewers, Thompson was singing for a rag-tag crew of a half dozen construction workers framing houses near his hometown of Louisa, KY (population 2,852).

Likeable, humble, funny and clearly talented, Thompson was one of their own. One of the guys on the crew, whom Thompson had only known a couple months, decided to do something about it and submitted him for the American Idol auditions in Austin, Texas. “When he signed me up, it was a big ‘No,’ recalled Thompson, who had never been on a plane prior to the auditions. “I really didn’t want him to do it. I could never really picture myself
doing something like that. Being in that environment, surrounded by famous people like Luke Bryan and all them, it didn’t seem realistic to me."

Bolstered by the American Idol judges’ confidence in his talent and the nation’s overwhelming support, the early fan-favorite’s humble and kind demeanor instantly connected with fans, and when he put his rough-hewn Country vocals on Rihanna’s R&B smash hit “Stay” during the “showstopper round,” the rising star had his ultimate breakout moment. The natural break in his vocals added a depth of emotion and an authentic ache to the song.
“People love that song, and I’m happy people are still loving it,” Thompson said. And they’re loving it so much so, he’s releasing his rendition of “Stay” on July 29 – the song that changed his trajectory on the show and proved why he deserved to be named the winner
of this year’s American Idol.

Whiskey, Cash and Roses is a high energy band outta Nashville, Tennessee. Co-fronted by Clayton, North Carolina native Holland Marie and Cleveland Ohio’s very own, Robbie Muzick. When Holland and Robbie played their first show together, they knew there was something special. They locked in on harmonies and fed off of each other’s energy, and there wasn’t much choice but to join forces. Robbie’s diverse background in country, Rock and blues blended perfectly with Holland’s soulful southern rock and country vibes. Fast forward to nearly a decade later and they’ve played thousands of shows from Nashville to Cali. Opened for acts like Shenandoah, played with little Texas and been featured on Fox & Friends NYE at the Wildhorse Saloon… just to name a few. You can find them weekly on Broadway, singing their hearts out and captivating the masses. When you see this band, you’re not only gonna love what you hear, you’ll know they love what they do. From Holland’s high notes and dance moves to Robbie’s guitar shredding and one liners, you’ll be instantly hooked and find yourself making plans to have your next dose of Whiskey, Cash and Roses.

LRH Live presents Tim Montana and Creed Fisher

About Tim Montana: Chiefly considered a Country rocker, Tim Montana is a true Renaissance man, moonlighting as a TV personality, marksman, father, husband, grill master, songwriter, hot sauce connoisseur, hell-raiser,truck driver, philanthropistandbusinessman.Raised in a single-wide without electricityinthe wilds near Butte,Montana, Tim Montana (yes, it's his real name),spent many years grinding it out bytaking odd jobs just to pay the bills (like cleaning kennels, frying chickens, operatinga carousel, being a ranch hand)and racked up lifetimes worth of unbelievable stories. With a mix of innate talent, unrelenting hustle, grit, gasoline and magnetic charisma, Montana is now signed with Music Knox Records/BBR Music Group. Tim released his label debut album (produced by the award-winning Michael Knox), Long Shots in April 2021 and is already prepared to release its follow up EP Reno. While the Long Shots title served as a nod to the hard road Montana had to take to achieve his dream and how he overcame his struggles against all odds. Reno is a display of gratitude to all of those who have taken a gamble on him and supported him being his authentic self. The music, befitting of its lyrical themes, is Country Rock—but don’t mistake it for Southern. With geography impacting Tim’s musical influences, he’s located somewhere between Seattle and its grunge, Texas’ roadhouse, Nashville’s Country, Wyoming’s Chris LeDoux, and the Heartland’s Rock. The music of both projects embraces hard living, the American experience and the blue-collar way—it’s an odeto the underdogs and screams “hard work pays off,” something Tim knows a lot about.

About Creed Fisher: The odds were against me all along, but I just wouldn't go away." Country music rebel, Creed Fisher, defied the odds, going from rock bottom to chart-topping on his own terms independently. Like a steely-eyed gunslinger from a Sergio Leone western, he is a man of few words and lets his music tell his story. Fisher's songwriting harkens back to the roots of genuine outlaw country music, taking listeners back to a place and time when the fine art of storytelling flowed effortlessly. While that element seems to have gotten lost in the glitzy slush of modern times, he's never been one to sell his soul to the trends. Keeping it real means writing songs that real people can relate to; the good, bad and even the ugly. "A big part of my music is patriotic and for the working class. I relate to my music because I lived it." Now, Fisher ups the ante, joining forces with renegade record label Dirt Rock Empire, for the highly anticipated release of his newest album, Whiskey and The Dog, which he promises, "A rollercoaster of emotions; laughs, cheers with drinks and songs that will make you want to cry." Unapologetic, patriotic and passionate, the album stays true to Creed Fisher's unwavering form, speaking to and for his fans. "People will be like,'I'm glad he said that' and 'He said things I wanna say but can't say.
