John Michael Montgomery has turned an uncanny ability to relate to fans into one of country music's most storied careers. Behind the string of hit records, the roomful of awards and the critical and fan accolades that have defined his phenomenal success lies a connection that goes beyond his undeniable talent and his proven knack for picking hits. Since the days when "Life's A Dance" turned him from an unknown artist into a national star, John Michael’s rich baritone has carried that most important of assets--believability. Few artists in any genre sing with more heart than this handsome Kentucky-born artist.

It is readily apparent in love songs that have helped set the standard for a generation. Songs like “I Swear,” “I Love the Way You Love Me” and “I Can Love You Like That” still resonate across the landscape--pop icon and country newcomer Jessica Simpson cited “I Love The Way You Love Me” as an influence in a recent interview. It is apparent in the 2004 hit “Letters From Home,” one of the most moving tributes to the connection between soldiers and their families ever recorded, and in “The Little Girl,” a tale of redemption that plumbs both the harrowing and the uplifting. It is apparent even in the pure fun that has always found its way into John Michael's repertoire--songs like “Be My Baby Tonight” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),” where John Michael's vocal earnestness takes musical whimsy to another level.

The family band played on weekends throughout the area, and John Michael and his brother Eddie eagerly soaked up everything about it.

The hits followed steadily, with songs like "Rope The Moon," "If You've Got Love," "No Man's Land," "Cowboy Love," "As Long As I Live," "Friends" and "How Was I To Know" establishing him as one of the elite acts of the era. He received the CMA Horizon award and was named the ACM's Top New Vocalist, setting off a long series of awards that included the CMA's Single and Song of the Year, Billboard's Top Country Artist, and a Grammy nomination. Heavy touring meant he kept the close touch with fans he had begun in the clubs back home.

"You get to know your fans and what they like more and more through the years," he says, "and you kind of gravitate towards one another."

Indeed, he has always had an extraordinarily close relationship with his fans, and they have stayed with him through good and bad times.

Asked what he thinks gave him the edge in a career that calls millions but gives stardom to just a few, he pauses, then thinks back to the legacy of his parents.

"I reckon it was good genes and good blood," he says with a smile. Few who know the depth and breadth of his own growing legacy would disagree.

BMI artist, CMA Member and Nashville recording artist, Kevin McCoy is a singer-songwriter who combines Rock and R&B influences and his unmistakable country voice with impeccable range to create a style of music all his own. Kevin and a melting pot of classic heavy western, southern rock-n-rollers by his side make up the hard hitting Kevin McCoy Band.

In the 10 years the band has been together, they have been nominated for various Josie Awards for Independent Artists including Male Vocalist, Entertainer of the Year, Group of the Year and Video of the Year for “Blue Collar”. Kevin co-wrote “Blue Collar” with Apple Music #1 hit songwriter Mason Douglas. The song had notable success reaching number 51 on the Music Row CountryBreakout chart and reaching over 100,000 digital streams. The fan favorite “Moonlight” co-written with #1 hit songwriter Jason Matthews reached number 64 on the Billboard Indicator radio chart. 

As good as the recorded versions of these songs are, you can’t beat a live Kevin McCoy Band show! Kevin and the band create an experience that elevates them above the typical bar band. These performances led to a 2022 that was filled with amazing opportunities including opening for many National Recording Artists: Eddie Montgomery from Montgomery Gentry, Frank Foster, Tracy Byrd, Jimmie Allen, Chris Hennessee, David Nail, Creed Fisher, Tim Montana, Tyler Braden, Brit Stokes, and Little River Band. In addition Kevin McCoy Band proudly supported their hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio by performing on a float in the Reds Opening Day Parade and also rocking the downtown streets during Taste of Cincinnati. The band is also a regular act at the most popular Fairs and Festival in the tri-state area. 

2023 is shaping up to be a breakout year for Kevin and the band. They have already secured slots at some of the biggest shows of the summer including the inaugural Voices of America Country Music Fest in West Chester, Ohio and the “OG” Country Concert in Ft. He is quickly gaining world wide traction through TikTok with 300k plus followers and counting. Country music is in his blood. His Grandmothers band holds a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame forever as the first all-female group in country music history. Blake has played all over Cincinnati building a local fan base and has had the pleasure of opening for Ernest, Chase Matthew, Diamond Rio, Montgomery Gentry and more. He brings the new style of mainstream country music, with influence from Morgan Wallen, Hardy and Luke Combs to name a few.

Straight from a Country song – two guys meet and start a band, realize the same girl broke their heart, and then make a spur-of-the-moment decision to hop in a car fueled on neon dreams en route to Nashville – but no, this is the real-life story of LAKEVIEW.

Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy make up the Nashville-by-way-of-Pittsburgh duo, infusing Country soul, Rock scope, and Pop ambition, into a singular style rooted in old-school storytelling and elevated by carpe diem attitude and edgy.

Their no regrets introduction to the genre comes by way of “work hard, play harder” anthem, “Poor Me,”  and red flag-raising knockout, “Eyes Closed” – both tagging Denaro and Healy as co-writers and co-producers. Cody Quistad (X) co-penned “Poor Me” with LAKEVIEW, as Kevin Bard (Dan + Shay’s #1 hit “How Not To”) joined the pair as a co-writer on “Eyes Closed.”

 Originally from just outside New York City, Denaro was raised by musicians – as his mom was a piano teacher and his dad played the drums. Taught the drums by age 3 and later mastering the keys, he began performing live at 12, including playing worship at church until he was 22 years old. Healy, a native of Pittsburgh, relates to the same homegrown love of music, claiming, “It’s really special how that played a huge role in my life and I didn’t even realize at the time that my dad was basically teaching me how to write Country music – when he didn’t write music at all.” Healy further explains, 

LAKEVIEW is grabbing the attention of critics with Country Now dubbing them the “next big act in Country music” and being featured on The Boot’s New Songs You Need to Hear list. And they’re just getting started.
