Park-A-Palooza, happening June 8-10th on the Peoria RiverFront! Start your Summer of PLAY with a weekend of bouncing, entertainment, and a whole lot of fun!

Park-A-Palooza will feature three main components – the Guinness Book of Records World’s Largest Bounce House and The Giant obstacle course, a Drone Light Show, and a concert featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Ashley McBryde!

Big Bounce House America + The Giant Obstacle Course 
The biggest bounce house is coming to Central Illinois! That’s right, enjoy the Guinness Certified World’s Largest Bounce House! Covering an area of just over 16,000 square foot and towering 32ft high, you’re sure to have a good time! And that’s not all… the RiverFront will also be home to The Giant Obstacle Course- spanning 900ft of fun! Bounce House tickets will be available for age and time-specific periods spanning June 8-10th and will go on sale on March 3rd. Tickets range from $7-$10.

Ashley McBryde featuring Chase Wright GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM award winner Ashley McBryde and Chase Wright will take the stage on the RiverFront on Friday, June 9th. Tickets will go on sale March 3rd, with a $10/ticket pre-sale rate through April 1st.

Drone Light Show Come down to the RiverFront as we illuminate the skies with a Peoria-area first: a world-class drone light show! 300 LED drones will take the sky with choreographed music and artistic design in an eco-friendly, awe-inspiring display! The show is free and open to the public, with an initial show at 9 pm and a repeat performance at approximately 9:45 pm.

The last weekend in August every year, the St. Patrick Society of Peoria partners with the Peoria Park District to host the Peoria Irish Fest on the Peoria RiverFront. Over the years, Peoria Irish Fest (Erin Feis) has grown from a Sunday afternoon picnic to a 3-Day Irish Festival.  Although the venue has changed and the scope of activities and entertainment has grown exponentially since that first picnic, we still provide a time and place for friends and families to join together and share their interest in Irish traditions.

The first day of Peoria Irish Fest is called “The Gathering,” the second is “The Day,” and the last is “The Scattering.”  During the three days of the event, attendees can enjoy a variety of musicians from around Peoria, the country, or the world, playing both traditional and more modern Irish music, Irish dancers from a variety of Irish Dance Schools, and learn more about Irish traditions in our Cultural Village.

Also featured during the festival, the Ancient Athletic sporting competition is conducted featuring the Sheaf Toss, Caber Toss, Stone Put, Hammer Throw, Braemar Stone/Open Stone—heavyweight for distance and lightweight for distance.

On Friday, the Happy Hour 5K race goes along the riverfront, with participants getting free fest entry.

On Sunday, attendees can participate in a Catholic Mass where canned goods are collected for local food pantries.
