Thank you for joining North Austin Ballet Theatre for our Spring Showcase!

This spring, NABT will be performing Peter and the Wolf, excerpts from La Bayadere as well as new works choregraphed by Lauren Haggerty, Ginger Gondron-Sanchez and Kelly Lee.

La Bayadere: Originally choreographed by Marius Petipa to music by Ludwig Minkus and first performed in 1877, La Bayadere is the story of Nikiya (the 'bayadere' or temple dancer) and Solor, a warrior, and their forbidden love. We will perform a selection of pieces from this beautiful classic.

New Works: Fuego Rojo by Lauren Haggerty & Kelly Lee, Peaches by Lauren Haggerty, Spirale by Ginger Gondron-Sanchez

Peter & the Wolf: This playful family ballet was composed by Sergei Prokofiev who wrote the score with the intent to teach children the different instruments of the orchestra. Enjoy this narrated tale and journey along with Peter as he and his forest animal friends band together to capture the Wolf. 

NABT is a Pre-Professional Ballet Company that provides performing and outreach opportunities for dancers age 8+. Our mission is to develop the next generation of concert dancers and enrich our community through performances and outreach opportunities.
