The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra (PRSO) is the leading professional ragtime orchestra in the United States. Under the direction of virtuoso Andrew Greene, PRSO recreates the syncopated stylings of a bygone era - Ragtime, Theater, and Dance music, along with underscoring classic silent films using an immense archive of over 15,000 original orchestral scores.

A crowd favorite while performing at venues from The Kennedy Center, The Library of Congress, The American Film Institute, historic theaters, major performing arts centers, universities and more across the United States... PRSO is also a favorite on radio stations everywhere!

Their programs highlight the music of the late 1800s and early 1900s, with selections by composers such as Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, W.C. Handy, Eubie Blake, George M. Cohan, and of course, the King of Ragtime, Scott Joplin. Their silent film programs feature the biggest names of the day (Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd Laurel & Hardy, Douglas Fairbanks, and more), and have earned them worldwide recognition and fame.

A GRAMMY nominee and winner of 13 International Bluegrass Music Association awards, Darren Nicholson has taken his own brand of mountain music around the world. A regular for years on the Grand Ole Opry out of Nashville Tennessee, and a founding member of acclaimed bluegrass group Balsam Range. Darren now spends his time recording, writing new songs, and performing. This performance will feature a full band configuration, with Darren on guitar/mandolin and vocals along with upright bass, percussion, banjo and/or fiddle.

Darren Nicholson Band is a group of Appalachian musicians who have common respect for and love of American acoustic music. They are known for creatively blending bluegrass, folk, gospel, and swing, into a new music experience.

OBIE Award winner Jason Petty brings Hank & My Honky Tonk Heroes to the theater in a celebration of a musician known the world over as the most influential singer/songwriter ever. Acclaimed performer/musician Jason Petty, along with his four piece band, gives audiences a personal look at Williams growing up, how he became famous, who influenced the legendary singer /songwriter  and performers today who are influenced by Williams.

Not only will the great songs of Hank Williams Sr. be performed but audiences also treated to a selection of songs from some of Hank’s influences (including Jimmie Rodgers, Carter Family, Roy Acuff and Ernest Tubb),  and those who were influenced by Hank  (including George Jones, Webb Pierce, Faron Young, Elvis and Alan Jackson). Following last season’s smashing success with audiences, Denise Tichenor returns with her band and full singer ensemble for a night of Motown, gospel and memories.

Denise Tichenor has been a professional singer/performer for over 30 years. During her years in the entertainment industry, she has been a regular lead singer for the Bobby Jones Gospel Hour on BET Television Network for 17 years. She has also been featured in the Gospel Music Encyclopedia, "Uncloudy Days" among many of the gospel greats, such as Mahalia Jackson. She has traveled the world singing both gospel and secular in places such as Italy, Spain and Australia. Denise also continues to sing with the legendary group, Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers.

Denise just recently began her "Patti LaBelle Tribute" tour in September of 2020 and is now very excited about her Motown tribute show! The Motown Special will feature many Motown hits from artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell, Gladys Knight, James Brown and many more - as well as some other Old School R&B favorites during the Motown Era that you may remember and continue to enjoy!
