PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Jeff Dye is a nationally touring comedian, actor and host. Jeff shot over 100 episodes of a new game show airing on Fox called “Who the Bleep is that?” and is currently filming his new comedy special “The Last Cowboy in LA.”
Jeff starred in NBC’s comedy adventure series “Better Late Than Never” and can be seen on episodes of “I Can See Your Voice” and “The Masked Singer” on Fox. Dye has performed multiple times on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and has had his own “Comedy Central Presents” special. In previous years, he has starred on numerous TV projects, including “Money from Strangers,” “Girl Code,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” NBC’s “I Can Do That,” “Better Late Than Never,” “That Awkward Game Show” and numerous other shows. Jeff’s last two albums, Dumb is Gooder and Live From Madison, are playing on Sirius XM and are top 10 albums on the Billboard Comedy charts.

Join us for a curated presentation of song and spoken work in honor of Black Women’s History Month featuring gospel singer, historian, and educator Mary D. Williams.
Williams has a voice and a presence that demand attention. She has captured the hearts and minds of people across North Carolina and our region who’ve witnessed her chronicle the history of the Civil Rights movement through song.
Born and raised in Garner, Williams grew up spending summers with her grandparents in Smithfield, N.C. Music was an integral part of her daily life – her father was a quartet singer and her grandmother was always singing.
Williams weaves together African American spirituals from the Civil War era with more modern anthems of the Civil Rights Movement, connecting generations of music and social change.

Join Clayton Piano Festival as it presents its first-ever celebration of courage, resilience, and the power of music to unite us all. This unique Memorial Day tribute explores the multifaceted experience of armed forces personnel, past and present. Narrated by local Marine veteran, Mike Stojic, the event not only speaks of the harsh realities of war and resulting disconnection from society that many soldiers face, but also triumph in the midst of adversity and the pursuit of peace and reconciliation. The concert promises a diverse array of music that will take you on a journey. From iconic classical and opera numbers to the toe-tapping rhythms of jazz and Broadway, there’s a little something for everyone. The concert features the extraordinary talents of multi-genre vocalist Damon K. Clark, violinist Christin Danchi, pianist Jonathan Levin, mezzo-soprano Angelique Alexander, the dynamic David Richard’s Swingsters Union Band, and more.

Presented by Musical Concepts Inc.Dietrich will be playing songs from his album “Porch Music,” as well as sharing stories of growing up in the American South. After the show, join him for a meet and greet, where he'll be hugging necks, shaking hands, and signing books.
The writer, musician, and stand-up storyteller first appeared at The Clayton Center in 2022. Since then he has performed at the Grand Ole Opry three times, published two new books, and released his first full-length album entitled "Porch Music."
