The cult classic horror/musical/B-film will be presented with a small group of actors onstage as a "phantom cast" for many of your favorite scenes, including “The Time Warp”.  As is tradition for this production, the audience is invited to participate in the callouts that have been developed to accompany the movie. "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is rated R, and the callouts are as well. Many versions of the callout script exist online, so feel free to look them up!

In addition, you can bring the props to be used for the following scenes:

  • Blow bubbles at the wedding when the Bride and Groom leave in their car

  • When Brad and Janet get caught in a thunderstorm, wear a newspaper over your head

  • When Dr. Frank-N-Furter introduces his creation, snap your dish gloves on your wrists

  • The Transylvanians welcome Rocky with party noisemakers.

  • When Dr. Scott arrives, and Brad says the line, "Great Scott!," throw a roll of toilet paper

Special cocktails will be available for purchase. Feel free to dress in your best Transylvanian costume, and let's do the Time Warp again!

Dave Munsick is a local treasure. He has distilled half a decade of full living into the songs that he writes and the stories that he tells as he entertains crowds as a solo performer as well as a band member. He’s opened for or played with names including Ian Tyson, Chris LeDoux, and Lyle Lovett. In 2016 he and his family band, The Munsick Boys, were awarded the prestigious Best Western Band by the Academy of Western Artists.

Dave’s songs reflect finely crafted moments from his life; they are songs that capture the heart of the land and the people who live there. He has recorded six cds of original songs as well as published a book, Songteller: Notes From The Road, in which he uses his unique perspective to describe experiences he’s had following his songs around the country. He continues to write and perform, allowing his music to take him to new territories as he explores the art of telling a good story within a song.

“Dave Munsick captures the spirit of the people both harmonically and humanistically. He is an exemplary writer.” Michael Martin Murphey

The ancient Greek myth of Orpheus, who attempts to harness the power of music to rescue his beloved Eurydice from the underworld, has inspired composers since opera’s earliest days. Rising American composer Matthew Aucoin now carries that tradition into the 21st century with a captivating new take on the story. With a libretto by MacArthur “Genius Grant” recipient Sarah Ruhl, adapted from her acclaimed 2003 play, the opera reimagines the familiar tale from Eurydice’s point of view. Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin takes the podium, leading Aucoin’s evocative music and an immersive new staging by Mary Zimmerman. Soprano Erin Morley sings the title role, opposite baritone Joshua Hopkins as Orpheus and countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński as his otherworldly alter ego.

When Australian composer Brett Dean’s Hamlet had its world premiere at the Glyndebourne Festival in 2017, The Guardian declared, “New opera doesn’t often get to sound this good … Shakespeare offers a gauntlet to composers that shouldn’t always be picked up, but Dean’s Hamlet rises to the challenge.” On June 4, this riveting contemporary masterpiece appears live in cinemas, with Neil Armfield, who directed the work’s premiere, bringing his acclaimed staging to the Met. Many of the original cast members have followed, including tenor Allan Clayton in the title role. Nicholas Carter makes his Met debut conducting a remarkable ensemble, which also features soprano Brenda Rae as Ophelia, mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly as Gertrude, baritone Rod Gilfry as Claudius, and legendary bass Sir John Tomlinson as the ghost of Hamlet’s father.
