Teton Gravity Research presents its latest action-packed ski and snowboard film: MAGIC HOUR.

For 27 years, Teton Gravity Research has been searching for the right place with the right crew at the perfect time to experience life at its fullest. Between the thrill of the hunt and the peace of floating down a mountain, the sum of our experiences becoming greater than its parts is what we seek. If you ask us, our annual snow film Magic Hour is just that.

CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES
Featuring: CASCADE QUARTET
Guest Artist: RICHARD PEARSON THOMAS, Piano
Featuring music by composers who have a close connection with Montana, including an exciting new Piano Quintet written and performed by Richard Pearson Thomas.
Don't miss this exciting collaboration! The Chinook Winds join forces with Michigan’s Pure Winds to perform music composed for larger ensembles. Ruth Gipps’ Seascapes and Jeff Scott’s Sacred Women are contemporary works that feature both ensembles together. Partita by Franz Krommer highlights music from 18th and 19th century courts. Pure Winds will also be featured as they perform Brandon Scott Rumsey’s Emblems.
Featuring harmonious combinations of the nine talented Cascade Quartet and
Chinook Winds ensembles with music by Mozart and other brilliant composers.
The Cascade Quartet performs three quartets in the Czech style: The bold and brilliant Quartet in C-Major by Antonin Dvorˇák, a lyrical meditation by Dvorak’s student, Josef Suk, and a five-part piece by Erwin Schulhoff that reflects the many styles and cultures that fascinated him.
Not just for the young or young at heart, the theme of this concert also centers around the concept of youth. Robert Schumann’s Kinderszenen features scenes from the composer’s youth and guest clarinetist, Christopher Kirkpatrick, joins the group in Leoš Janácˇek’s Mladi (Youth) sextet. Antonio Jarvey, a Great Falls native, will also feature alongside the Chinook Winds for Darius Milhaud’s Scaramouche.
