For the uninitiated, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes consist of Joey Cape (Lagwagon) on guitar, Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters) on lead guitar, Dave Raun (Lagwagon) on the drums, Fat Wreck-head-honcho/NOFX main-dude Fat Mike, and rounded out by the incomparable crooner, Spike Slawson. Together, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are an outfit that has always operated more like a beer-hall Pussycat Dolls than a regular mortal band.

Helmed by drummer Brian Viglione and singer/songwriter/pianist Amanda Palmer, the
punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls have attained legendary status with their darkly
original song-craft and visceral, no-holds-barred live shows. Blending performance art
and politics with an array of sonic and lyrical influences from The Doors and Black
Sabbath to Lotte Lenya and Nina Simone, the pair reaped global attention for creating a
uniquely cathartic sound and vision all their own.  

Three studio albums – 2003’s self-titled debut and 2006’s YES, VIRGINIA…,
and 2008’s NO, VIRGINIA – earned International critical praise, hailing The Dresden
Dolls’ distinctive work as both deeply unsettling yet remarkably accessible.

After a long-needed hiatus and countless solo- and side-projects later (Viglione
drummed for NIN and Violent Femmes; Palmer wrote a best-selling book and broke
crowdfunding records), The Dresden Dolls are back at work and slowly building towards
the creation of their fourth studio album and their first full global tour in almost two
decades.

“CRSB” Chris Ramos & Sonny B are cousins based out of the Bay Area California who have been writing and producing their own style of island infused R&B. While moving the sound of the culture forward they have maintained a consistent singular unique sound embodying there island culture and bay area based raising and style. With over 15 Millions streams collectively their music has grown with their fan base. 

Known for their Island Radio #1 Hit songs “Give It Up” & “You & I” CRSB has consistently made a name for themselves through out their musical journey.

Their most recent project “WEARECRSB” has songs like “Vibrations” , “MIA”, and “WITH YOU” featured on NETFLIX, ESPN, NBA, OPRAH NETWORK, HULU, BET and HBOMAX. Along with Writing and Producing their own music they have ventured out into Producing and writing for other artists such as Platinum Recording Artist ADRIAN MARCEL and his highly anticipated 2023 upcoming Album “R&BAY” which they have curated collectively together as a new sound for the BAY AREA.  

CRSB is the sound the bridges the gap between island music and the very unique Bay Area Style and Culture. 

East Oakland’s own Adrian Marcel is solidifying himself as an R&B chameleon whose smooth & sultry sonics pair seamlessly with his boldness and emotional bravery. With an across-the-board artistic upbringing and versatile Bay Area cultivation, Marcel’s organically resonant work provides palatability & relatability, allowing fans to feel seen & heard regardless of where they’re from or who they are. His work largely pertains to the importance and power of passionate love.

His first album, 2017’s #GMFU – Got Me F%^&ed Up, finds him tapping in with Saadiq, singer-songwriter James Fauntelroy, & producer No I.D. He took his creativity & career into his own hands with his sophomore album, 2019’s 98th. The first project released under his own independent label Third Voice Music Group. Adrian has also taken up acting and starred in the TV One bio pic, "The Bobby Debarge Story."

Marcel’s forthcoming eponymous EP Marcel is expected in early 2022. The project shows a new side to the artist, whose personal & professional self-awareness further expanded as a result of the pandemic. Marcel is confident, free, and raw.

For his latest offering, the “unapologetically Oakland” artist Marcel teamed up w/ singer/songwriters Sonny B. Of CRSB & Ryn Nicole (to name a few) to reintroduce himself starting w/ "I Gotchu" & "In My Bag"

The EP’s melody-driven choruses work in tandem w/ expressive lyricism & energetic production. Marcel provides an edginess just waiting 2b unearthed by its purveyor.

ZeZé Di Camargo is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and musician, born in 1953. He is the son of Elomar de Camargo and Iolanda Monteiro de Camargo. ZeZé started performing with his brother Zilu in 1972 and they released their first album in 1975. During the 1980s, their music style changed from traditional sertaneja music to the modern romantic sertanejo, which is popular in Brazil today. Over the years, ZeZé has released several albums with hits like “É o Amor”, “Vem me Amar”, “Deu Dó Na Vida”, “Sou Fã” and many more. He has also collaborated with other artists such as Luciano, Leonardo and his brother Zilu. In 2020 he was awarded the Latin Grammy for Best Sertanejo Album for his work “Aqui É O Seu Lugar”.

 Com um total de 27 músicas, 20 são releituras e 7 são inéditas. O último projeto ao vivo será lançado nos próximos meses. Ao falar com a imprensa sobre a escolha das canções, o sertanejo respondeu: “O repertório foi escolhido por mim, tem as sugestões do meu produtor, o Felipe Duram, dicas do meu irmão Emanoel, mas o repertório, principalmente nas regravações, foi de músicas escolhidas por mim”

Rad Museum:
South Korean R&B producer, singer and graphic artist Rad Museum burst onto the scene when he released his critically acclaimed debut EP [Scene] in 2017 and was subsequently nominated at the 2018 Korean Music Awards for Best New Artist and Best R&B/Soul album. He has since made an exceptional career as a graphic designer, working on several high-profile video, album cover art design and poster design projects.

Tabber:
Proving his potential through collaborating with artists such as ROMderful, Punchnello, and Apro, Tabber released his debut critically acclaimed mixtape ‘Deep End Mix Tape’ in August 2020 — making him one of the most exciting Korean R&B acts to watch.

Miso:
Korean singer Miso is known for speaking her mind and sharing her beliefs through her deep lyrics and dreamlike production.  She released her first single [Take Me] in December 2016 — her unique tone and genre bending musical style quickly ascended her as an artist with fascinating energy and timeless taste.

The Bad Plus are the ultimate originals. A democratic unit with a clear vision and a refusal to conform to convention. Now in their 21st year, The Bad Plus continues to push boundaries as founding members Reid Anderson (bass) and Dave King (drums) embark on a new piano-less incarnation of the band with Ben Monder (guitar) and Chris Speed (tenor saxophone) – instigating a new wave of excitement and anticipation within the band that is re-energizing their sound and inspiration. The Bad Plus have constantly searched to bridge genres and techniques while exploring the infinite possibilities of exceptional musicians working in perfect sync.

The Bad Plus is set to release their 15th studio recording and debut self-titled album as a dynamic new quartet via Edition Records on Friday, September 30th. “Evolution is necessary for life and creativity,” say Dave King and Reid Anderson. “We’ve evolved, but we’re still The Bad Plus.”

On the band’s 5th studio release, Connection (July 2023), Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog have pushed their long-brewing tension between traditional pop songcraft and avantgarde improvisational music to the breaking point, bridging their customary genre-agnostic approach with elements of glam boogie, minimalist disco, psychedelic boogaloo, garage-punk-against-the-machine agitprop, and so much more. Recorded at Figure 8 Recording in Brooklyn, NY and mixed by Ben Greenberg (Danny Elfman, Depeche Mode, Lamb of God) the album sees Ribot – whose prodigious, impossible-to-categorize body of work as bandleader and musician spans no wave and jazz, Brazilian and Cuban music, roots and avant-garde and protest songs (often at the same time) alongside legendary collaborations with Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, The Lounge Lizards, John Zorn, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Caetano Veloso, and Laurie Anderson (to name but a few) – continuing to utilize Ceramic Dog as the vessel for his distinctive stream-of-consciousness songwriting, penning three out of the album’s four vocal tracks including the groove-infected “Ecstasy” (showcasing Anthony Coleman’s slinky Farfisa and longtime friend and associate Syd Straw behind the mic). From the anthemic manifesto “Soldiers in the Army of Love” to the unhinged ranting of “Heart Attack” and indescribable “No Name,” Ceramic Dog unleash a fury of complex time signatures, blues abstraction, and free-blowing energy to create their most unapologetically audacious collection thus far, their one-of-a-kind daring evidenced by the unlikely cover of Arthur Schwartz and Howard Dietz’s “That’s Entertainment,” written especially for the 1953 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer musical film The Band Wagon but here, in Ribot and Co’s hands, deconstructs Hollywood cliches while simultaneously winking at both the post-punk and post-Cultural Revolution iterations of the Gang of Four.

Colin Patrick Harper hails from the tiny island of Bermuda. In the music industry, he is known as the reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, where he decided to study studio engineering. Upon graduating from the top in his class at Full Sail in 2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. One of his first major gigs was working with recording star Shaggy on the single "Mad Mad World" from Shaggy's new album at the time entitled Intoxication, which was released in 2007. That was the same year Collie released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music with tracks such as ‘Come Around’ and ‘Blind To You’. The album was a success and well-received by critics. WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz's voice from the entrance theme ("SOS") for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included on the 2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guest appearances on the works of many other artists.

It is no small coincidence that his stage name "Buddz" is slang for marijuana. There have been photographs taken of the artist holding bongs and other pot-smoking paraphernalia over the years. Of course, other reggae artists such as Bob Marley have made weed seem an essential part of the reggae lifestyle. When not working in the studio, Collie found himself selling out venue after venue on one of his many exhaustive tours. Now with new music being released and a good reputation under his belt, Buddz finds himself playing at some of the biggest reggae music festivals all across the world such as, Reggae Rise Up, One Love New Zealand, and California Roots Music Festival

At the end of the decade, Buddz started his own record label called Harper Digital. In 2011, he would finally release his second album entitled Playback followed shortly with the Blue Dreamz EP. Buddz would then go on to release his next album, Good Life, fully independently through Harper Digital with features from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Jody Highroller, and the Bay Area’s very own, P-Lo.

More recently, he has finished up his fully self produced album Hybrid which came out in the spring of 2019. Hybrid is Collie Buddz's third full-length album. The album is fully produced by Buddz and features two tracks with Russ, as well as tracks with Tech N9ne, B Young, Stonebwoy, Dizzy Wright, and Johnny Cosmic. The first five songs on the album have been released and highly praised as singles. The FADER called "Love & Reggae" a "quintessential reggae jam," and Billboard praised "Bank" feat. Russ & B Young, claiming "Buddz effortlessly [flowed] on the self-produced melody." Meanwhile, "Bounce It" featuring Ghanian Grammy nominee Stonebwoy has gotten radio play around the world including on Sirius XM Pitbull's Globalization channel, and Buddz's latest single "Show Love" has quickly earned radio play on Sirius XM The Joint and was added to Spotify's elite New Music Friday playlist.

Across their ten-year career, Oliver Lee and James Carter have amassed billions of streams and record sales, performed on the main stages of the world's biggest festivals and cultivated a global following in the process. Much like a snake shedding its skin, the Snakehips sound continues to evolve, with each layer being peeled back to reveal another exciting chapter in the story. It was 2015 hit 'All My Friends' that turned the boys from promising production duo to household name.
