Growing up in an artist community of Woodstock, NY, the daughter of loving hippie parents, the allure of music was never far from Lindsey Webster. The singer grew up listening to her parent's Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Elvis Costello LPs, and later the Supremes. Influenced by everyone from Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera to Steely Dan and Earth Wind and Fire, Webster once pursued medical school before finally settling on music. Webster made history in 2016 with her original, "Fool Me Once," which was the first vocal driven #1 song to top the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart since Sade's "Soldier of Love" in 2010, and she beat Sade's three-week run at #1 with a four-week stay at the top of the charts. November 2016, Webster made her Shanachie debut with Back To Your Heart, which spawned three songs that reached Top 3 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts - "Back To Your Heart," "Next To Me," and "Where Do You Want To Go," which hit #1.  2018 saw the release of Love Inside, which featured the Top 5 hit "Love Inside" and the Top ten single "It's Not You, It's Me" featuring Rick Braun.

"I am an artist…period," declares Lindsey Webster. "I have influences from many musical genres and have been influenced by them from a young age. I believe in the power of music to empower and reach people on multiple levels." The stunning, charismatic, and amiable Lindsey Webster's roots span the worlds of R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and beyond. Her flawless range has been compared to Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Minnie Ripperton, while her breezy and poetic songwriting is reminiscent of Sade.

Music Is His Gift. Rodney “Keys” Shelton is the quiet storm in the music industry. Rodney began his career at the tender age of 13. Unwearingly in his work ethic, the young Rodney Shelton started touring the east coast with the show band “Time Square” and only after a few years of touring, Rodney moved into his calling as a songwriter/producer creating hundreds of songs for signed artist.

In the early 90’s after meeting with the Legendary Music promoter/manager “Howard Rosen”, that Rosen encounter lead to another encounter with the Legendary producer Stewart Levine and Jolie Jones (daughter of Quincy Jones) in king a production deal.

With the legends at work, shopping “the demo” to top record labels, the band “Curio” signed a deal with Motown records. During the recording of their album, the band unique sound, the band performed in the HIT movie “Another 48 hours” featuring Eddie Murphy, doing three songs on the movie soundtrack.

While signed to Motown, Rodney met R&B singer “Keith Washington” and along with Marsha Jenkins wrote the NOW platinum record “Kissing You”, which after 20 years is still rocking the airwaves!

Justin Ray Big Band
WATCH
PRESS
The Justin Ray Big Band plays original music deeply rooted in the swing of Ellington and Basie, with lyrical themes that are both current and timeless. Justin Ray started his musical career as a bebop trumpet player, performing in venues all over the country. In 2003, he began to tour the world with the Michael Bublé band as the trumpet soloist. While with Bublé, Justin was given the opportunity to perform the works of some of the great composers/arrangers of the big band genre (Nelson Riddle, Quincy Jones, etc.), and he began working for Bublé in that capacity as well, becoming the primary orchestrator for the band in 2008. Ray combined many of his musical passions (trumpet, singing, and composing) by forming the Justin Ray Big Band in 2020. The group is dedicated to performing both original arrangements of the standard American songbook repertoire, and Ray’s original music for big band. Style and swing are at the center, but no musical or lyrical influence is out of bounds. This is big band music for the millennial.

Released in February 2019, the album is a musical journey through Contemporary Jazz, Soul/R&B and Hip Hop, and it showcases his growing skills as a songwriter, arranger and producer. The album yielded two Top 20 hits on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Singles Chart, “If You Only Knew” and “The Edge”. Currently, Marqueal is working on his third solo album, All We Have Are Moments, which is scheduled to drop in Spring 2021. The lead single for that album, “Last Call”, will be released on March 12, 2021.
