Eligibility:

Each competitor must be registered with the NPC and must present a current NPC membership card, current NPC membership payment receipt or purchase an NPC card at this competition.

Competitor's competing in the Master's Divisions must have reached their 35th/40th/50th/60th or 70th birthday by date of show and must provide proof of age with a birth certificate, driver’s license or state ID. Those competing in the Teen Men category must have reached their 18th birthday, but not their 20th birthday by date of show. To compete in the Novice Men & Women categories, athletes cannot have won their class at a previous NPC contest. NPC athletes competing the Men’s Classic Physique category must meet the NPC specific height and weight requirements. Please note that if you do not make weight for this class, then you will either be placed into physique or bodybuilding. No refunds will be given.

Register online at https://www.npcillinoisbodybuilding.com/npc-illinois-state-championships. Each entry is $115.00. Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.  All entries must be submitted online by Wednesday, May8, 9 PM CST, or a late fee of $75.00 will be charged when registering at check-in. 

Rules and Regulations:

Athletes who compete in pre-judging must participate in evening show. Solid color posing suits for Men’s Bodybuilding and Men’s Classic Physique only. No T-back suits permitted. No jewelry is permitted at prejudging for Men’s Bodybuilding and Men’s Classic Physique (except wedding rings). Athletes must always exhibit good sportsmanship. Only competitors and officials are allowed backstage or in the pump-up room. Current NPC rules apply. No Hot Stuff or Analgesic sprays are allowed (no exceptions). No bottled tanning lotion allowed in building. Please have your tanning preparation done before you arrive. You will be disqualified for putting tanning color on in the building.

No entries are allowed or accepted the day of the show. Last chance to register is the day before the show and in person during Check-in at USA Gym, 7620 West 100^th Place, Bridgeview, Illinois, 60455. Check-in on Friday, May 10, 2024, begins at 11 AM and ends at 5 PM CST.

Nache Mayuri Bollywood Dance School conducts 3 shows every year. This particular Show will be a theme based production and this year's theme is Bollywood Actor / Actress Special. Students have been training for almost  3 months for this show and are ready to perform in Bollywood Style . Nearly 280 Students will perform in Bollywood Style. There will be a total of 24 performances. Welcome Dance By Mayuri & Team , followed by 21 group performances all the way from 3yrs to adults and the show will end with a Grand Finale with 280 students. It is surely a treat to see it all come together. Please come join us with your friends & family.

Jon will be touring with The Band Geeks! The ensemble will be performing classic YES tracks including "And You and I," "Starship Trooper," "Heart of the Sunrise" and epic works like "Close To The Edge," "The Gates of Delirium," "Awaken" and others!

JON ANDERSON is undoubtedly one of the most recognizable voices in progressive rock as the lead vocalist and creative force behind Yes. Anderson was the author and a major creative influence behind the series of epics produced by Yes and his role in creating such complex pieces as Close to the Edge, Awaken, and especially The Gates of Delirium was central to the band's success. Additionally, Anderson co-authored the group's biggest hits, including I've Seen All Good People, Roundabout, and Owner Of A Lonely Heart.

Jon was born John Roy Anderson in Accrington, Lancashire, England, on October 25, 1944 to Albert and Kathleen Anderson, who were of Scottish (father) and Irish (mother) ancestry. Anderson dropped the h from his first name in 1970.

Early career:
In 1962, Anderson joined The Warriors, where he and his brother Tony shared the role of lead vocalist. He quit this band in 1967, released two solo singles in 1968 under the pseudonym Hans Christian Anderson, and then briefly sang for the band The Gun. In March 1968, Anderson met bassist Chris Squire and joined him in a group called Mabel Greer's Toyshop, which included guitarist Peter Banks.
