Directed by Billy Wilder and co-written by Wilder and Raymond Chandler (who has an uncredited cameo in the film), Double Indemnity is a 1944 American crime film noir based on James M. Cain's 1943 novel of the same name, which appeared as an eight-part serial for the Liberty magazine in February 1936. The film stars Fred MacMurray as an insurance salesman, Barbara Stanwyck as a provocative housewife who is accused of killing her husband, and Edward G. Robinson as a claims adjuster whose job is to find false claims. Double Indemnity is widely regarded as a classic and is cited as having set the standard for film noir. Deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the U.S. Library of Congress in 1992, Double Indemnity was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. The Machine has forged a 30+ year reputation of extending the musical legacy of Pink Floyd. The New York-based quartet performs a diverse mix of The Floyd's extensive 16-album repertoire, complete with faithful renditions of popular hits as well as obscure gems.
With stellar musicianship and passionate delivery, The Machine explores collective improvisation rivaling that of an early 1970's Pink Floyd, while their use of expanded theatrical elements and elaborate stage displays and lighting continues The Floyd spirit of the 1980's.
"They duplicate the sound and hits of Pink Floyd with chilling accuracy, and they play for a hell of a long time.” - Matt Diehl, Rolling Stone

In partnership with the Garden State Organ SocietySteamboat Bill, Jr. is a 1928 silent comedy film starring Buster Keaton. Released by United Artists, the film is the final product of Keaton's independent production team and set of gag writers. The film, named after Arthur Collins's popular 1911 recording of the 1910 song "Steamboat Bill", also featured Ernest Torrence, Marion Byron, and Tom Lewis. Notably, Steamboat Bill, Jr. is known for what may be Keaton's most famous film stunt: The facade of a house falls around him while he stands in the precise location of open window to avoid being flattened.
In 2016, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.

MCA Nashville recording artist and Grand Ole Opry member Josh Turner, while a multi-platinum-selling star himself, is a country music fan first and foremost.
From the start of his career through chart-topping hits like “Your Man,” “Would You Go With Me,” “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” and “All Over Me,” Turner has immersed himself in country music’s history and its iconic figures. He’s even concocted his own version of Mount Rushmore conceived solely of country music legends. Turner’s “Mount Rushmore of Country Music” boasts five faces rather than four (it’s his mountain, after all) – Randy Travis, John Anderson, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin, and Hank Williams. Turner paid tribute to his heroes with his 2021 release Country State of Mind.
For two decades, Turner has been one of country music’s most recognizable voices, with number one hits and five gold and platinum albums. He bridges the gap between country music’s past and present with his deep, velvet voice and unwavering dedication to the tenets of the genre for a concert experience not to be missed! To purchase accessible seating- call the UCPAC Box Office: (732) 499-8226
