PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
CBT’s production of Sleeping Beauty is a ballet designed especially for children, pairing the familiar and unforgettable music of Tchaikovsky with original choreography by Julie Orlob and Stacey Orlob-Richins.
Join us as we open with the christening of Princess Aurora, agonize over the curse of the spinning wheel from the evil fairy Carabosse, and celebrate the Princess's 16th birthday. Intermission will save you from the sleeping spell set by the Lilac Fairy to counter Carabosse's curse, and we will return in time to meet our intrepid Prince in the woods, and celebrate his victory over evil and eventual marriage to the Princess Aurora. See how many other familiar fairytale characters you recognize at the wedding!
