Hi Grouplovers!

We are so excited to be out on the road again, finally seeing you all, playing music and feeling the love in person which we really need!

We want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to keep you, our crew and ourselves safe at our shows-  so that the shows can go on!

With the current surge in the Delta variant, we are making all headline shows in September (excluding festivals (Wonderbus, Sea Hear Now, Twilight Series) where we will follow local venue guidelines) *Vaccine Only* to enter the venue.

We will be requiring proof of full vaccination ONLY. Negative Covid-19 tests will not be valid for entry.  Your vaccination card can be a physical or digital copy and must match your photo ID.  For patrons under 12, who are ineligible to receive a Covid-19 vaccination a negative test within the past 72 hours will be required.

If you would like a refund for the show, you can get one at point of purchase, and each promoter/venue will be sending you an email specifically about refunds if you have bought a ticket.

Despite all that craziness, we are so stoked we are going to see you and we appreciate you all doing your part to keep everyone as safe as possible during this wild time.

So much Grouplove

And see you soon

Soul-jazz groove-machine Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio—or as it is sometimes referred to, DLO3—never would have happened without years and years of crummy gigs, and Delvon’s staunchly supportive wife, Amy Novo.

The story goes that Hammond b3 organist Delvon would regularly lug his 400-pound instrument from venue to venue barely breaking even to play other people’s music, and Amy just got tired of it. She fiercely believed in Delvon’s talents, and, eventually, she made an offer he couldn’t refuse: If Delvon picked the musicians, she would take care of all the business surrounding it.

“I was watching an amazing talent being marginalized. He would be getting paid like $75 a gig and be spending $60 in gas to cart around his instrument, sometimes even renting a U-Haul. It wasn’t fair,” says the self-made music mogul who may be the first person to legally own a band. “For years, Amy had been telling me to step out from being a sideman. This was a natural move. Now, I can just play music and not worry—it’s been a welcome relief,” Delvon says.

Tsuruda

Los Angeles bass producer/DJ Tsuruda is a classically trained musician who blends elements of experimental hip-hop with avant-garde electronics. First debuting in 2014, Tsuruda has captivated audiences with his dynamic sound and hypnotizing live sets, which have taken him to marquee festivals like Shambhala Music Festival and EDC Las Vegas, in addition to his own solo tours throughout North America and beyond. His expansive discography is one of the most impressive bodies of work in independent electronic music. Tsuruda today stands at the upper echelon of bass music culture as an in-demand producer and internationally touring act.

Chee
Following several years of lateral experimentation in sound design, South African producer CHEE’s unique hybrid sound erupted into the international domain in 2016 with the release of his Shrodinger EP on Dutch label Underslung and several self-releases. His sonic innovation quickly caught the attention of prime heads in electronica, with tracks featured on leading Youtube portals such as Inspector Dubplate and with Noisia featuring Chee and side project IT HZ tracks on their radio show. With growing hype around his fresh approach and uncompromising bass experimentation with a heavy dancefloor edge, labels started to take a deeper interest.

Something downright mystical is happening on Colorado’s Front Range. The very roots of traditional acoustic music seem to sprout from the dirt, shaking their dust into the winds of change, to be breathed in and become the soul of musicians who craft their songs here.

Such is the music of Wood Belly, a musical collective of Chris Weist (mandolin), Tom Knowlton (guitar), Chris Zink (dobro), Aaron McCloskey (banjo) and Taylor Shuck (bass). A Wood Belly song has its own lyrical persona and masterful arrangement; rooted in bluegrass tradition and planted solidly in contemporary innovation.

The band has been garnering attention since the release of their 2018 debut album Solid Ground, which was followed by a win at the prestigious Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition (earning them a main stage performance slot at the 2019 festival), as well as a 2018 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year nomination.

Wood Belly released it's second album, Man on the Radio in January of 2020 capping an impressive stretch of writing and releases. The new 13-track collection was recorded at Swingfingers Studio in Fort Collins, CO with Grammy winning producer Sally Van Meter and engineer Aaron Youngberg, and features special guest fiddler Jeremy Garrett of The Infamous Stringdusters on several tracks.

Bumpin Uglies
The trajectory of Bumpin Uglies started over a decade ago, making music with friends, playing backyard parties and anywhere else they could get a gig. For Brandon Hardesty, lead vocals and guitar, it was a simple time, but one that taught him lessons that stay with him today as he leads the band into the 2020s. One was that he would do whatever it took for him and his band to be successful. Another was in discovering that doing it his way was the only way, which still applies today. Bumpin Uglies do things their way, free to play, think, and write however they feel, critics and the mainstream music industry be damned.

Tropidelic
“Every single second is a blessing if you count them all,” sings frontman Matthew Roads. You can hear the sincerity in his voice; the joie de vivre that oozes from everything Tropidelic does is apparent. When they take a stage, their synergy flows member to member – horns blow, knees kicked high and grins are passed from one man to the next. Almost immediately, it spreads to the crowd, lifting hands in the air as their feet begin to move. The pulse collectively becomes that of one.

The third full-length from Deep Sea Diver, Impossible Weight is a work of sublime highs and mesmerizing lows, its restless intensity both unsettling and transcendent. For bandleader Jessica Dobson, the album’s sonic and emotional expanse stems from a period of sometimes-brutal self-examination—a process that began not long after the Seattle-based four-piece finished touring for their acclaimed sophomore effort Secrets.

“We went into the studio pretty quickly after the tour ended, and I sort of hit a wall where I was feeling very detached from making music, and unable to find joy in it,” says the vocalist/multi-instrumentalist, whose bandmates include her husband Peter Mansen (drums), Garrett Gue (bass), and Elliot Jackson (guitar, synth). “I realized I had to try to rediscover my voice as a songwriter, and figure out the vocabulary for what I needed to say on this album.”

Projecting pop hooks through an alternative lens with a flair for dramatic presentation, Saint Motel make music worthy of the big screen. Streamed and viewed over half-a-billion times, the gold-selling Los Angeles quartet magnify this vision with immersive live experiences and one unpredictable move after another. The group initially came together at film school before introducing themselves on 2012’s Voyeur. Signing to Elektra Records, their 2014 My Type EP boasted both the gold-certified title track “My Type” and fan favorite “Cold Cold Man.” In 2016, saintmotelevision yielded the smash “Move.” Flipping the script once again, the musicians reimagined the record with a series of history-making first-of-their-kind innovations: an award-winning Virtual Reality version and an Augmented Reality version. In 2019, Saint Motel launched their most ambitious undertaking yet, unveiling their third full-length album in three parts. First up, they uncovered The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Pt. 1 powered by the shimmy and shake of Alternative Top 15 lead single “Van Horn.” Between packing houses coast to coast on headlining jaunts and earning acclaim from People, Billboard, and more, the four-piece rolled out Pt. 2 throughout 2020. And now, Pt. 3 is coming.

Born of a life-long friendship rooted in music, paired with an endless appetite for elevating and evolving their craft, indie-jam rock group Aqueous has definitively carved out their place on the national music scene. Following several full-length studio albums, EP’s, and live releases, high profile performances at music festivals like Electric Forest, The Peach Music Festival, and Summer Camp Music Festival, as well as favorable press from Billboard, Huffington Post, and Guitar Player Magazine, the band finds themselves touring all over the United States.

With instrumental prowess channeled through pop infused hooks, meaningful songwriting, and all out rock n’ roll, the band is a joyful musical tour-de-force. Being no strangers to improvisational music, the natural extension of many songs live is what makes every Aqueous show unique. No two shows are ever the same. Blurring the lines between a multitude of styles and genres, Aqueous' sound is explosive, fresh, and undeniably their own.

From a small town in Michigan to being called "A huge inspiration to the LGBTQ+ community" -- Wreckno is a rising 25 year old queer rapper/producer/DJ changing the game in the bass/EDM scene by creating a safe space for queer people in a genre that has historically lacked representation. Now Indianapolis based -- Wreckno dedicates his magnetic music and talent to this passion. He cites influences ranging from G Jones, Flume, Azealia Banks and Lady Gaga and has cosigns from peers including Griz, CloZee, & Dev, as well as bass music/EDM tastemaker labels such as Zeds Dead's Deadbeats and Liquid Stranger's Wakaan. His most recent EP was a Pride month celebration -- 'ROYGBIV' which exclusivly featured collaborations with fellow queer artists and allies as a gift to the community amidtst a challenging year. His collaboration, 'Medusa,' with fellow queer electronic musician Griz, charted #1 in TikTok's Pride category (followed by Donna Summer & Madonna), landed them the cover photo of Apple Music's New Music Daily playlist, and has 3+ million plays on Spotify. He has landed coveted festival spots two years in a row at the destination festival, Deja Voom, and this year, Okeechobee Festival's Incendia Stage chose him to be a part of their curated lineup featuring all rising bass music artists. Wreckno's impact can be felt radiating throughout the bass/EDM scene, and it's only the beginning.

Even among the pantheon of music’s finest artists, Del McCoury stands alone. From the nascent sound of bluegrass that charmed hardscrabble hillbilly honkytonks, rural schoolhouse stages, and the crowning glory of the Grand Ole Opry to the present-day culture-buzz of viral videos and digital streams, Del is the living link. On primetime and late-night television talk shows, there is Del. From headlining sold-out concerts to music festivals of all genres, including one carrying his namesake, there is Del. Where audiences number in the tens of thousands, and admirers as diverse as country-rock icon Steve Earle and jamband royalty Phish count as two among hundreds, there is Del.

Emerging from humble beginnings in York County, PA nearly eighty years ago, Del was not the likeliest of candidates for legendary status. As a teen, he was captivated by the banjo playing of one of its masters, Earl Scruggs, and decided he’d be a banjo picker, too. The Baltimore/Washington, D.C. bar scene of the early 1960s was lively and rough. Del caught a break. More than a break, really. It was an opportunity of a lifetime; joining Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys in early 1963. Considered the Father of Bluegrass, Monroe transformed McCoury, moving him from the banjo to guitar, anointing him lead singer, and providing him with a priceless trove of bluegrass tutelage direct from the source.

Hello, world: Rusko kindly requests that you wake the fuck up. The Leeds-born DJ/producer who ascended with the original U.K. dubstep movement -- and gave it one of its first and most enduring anthems, a bolt of foul-mouthed rave lightening called "Cockney Thug" -- is here to tell you that music is not about labels and dance is no fad. And to prove it, he proudly presents "SONGS": His gutsy, freewheeling, brilliant second album. "The sound of my early releases was very dub-influenced, and just good, fun, bouncy vibes," he says. "The majority of dubstep at the moment I think is aggressive, and I don't like angry music; I don't want to be angry in a club. So I wanted to make something really happy, but still heavy." "Happy and heavy" is a proper way to describe the vibe that has carried Rusko from the first moments of dubstep's life to the biggest stages in the world; from a single, seminal bass wobble to a swath of sounds that can't be capped in a few simple syllables. He might be one of the guys who started it all -- but he's sure as hell not going to leave it at that. A staple of the global electronic underground, Rusko has packed nightclubs, concert venues and festivals across the world, and not only dance-dedicated ones: From Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival, to Coachella and Lollapalooza; from Germany's Melt! to Australia's Good Vibrations. He created the majority of "O.M.G.!," his hard-hitting debut artist album, on the road, cutting tracks by day, and testing them on living, breathing dance floors by night. But for the follow-up, he wanted to try a different strategy. "From January to late September 2011, I didn't make a single track," he says.
