Wildflower season calls for a special train trip to Bertram for the Bertram Art, Herb and Wine Festival! Festivities are just steps away from our historic 1912 Depot during our 2-hour layover.

About the Ride: The Bertram Flyer invites you on a relaxing journey into passenger railroad's glorious past! Our vintage train cars are from the golden era of rail travel, built in the '30s, '40s and '50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. On board the train, your 44-mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast-one of the tallest structures in the world! 

About the Festival: The Bertram Art, Herb and Wine Festival will be held on the streets of Downtown Bertram, April 27th from 10-6pm (Saturday) and April 28th from 11-4pm (Sunday). The streets will be filled with Hand Crafted Vendors, Art, Herbs, Wine Vendors, Beer Booth, Festival T-Shirts, Live Music, Food Booths and so much more. All cars are pulled by a diesel locomotive. This 44-mile ride is 4.5 hours round trip with a 2-hour layover. SCHEDULE: Departs 9:00 AM, Returns 1:30 PM. Due to the unique nature of our non-profit railroad operations, there are no refunds. (Please note that our Saturday and Sunday run have different times.)

Activities on board the train will animate your Princess, while the Professional Princess Team brings some of your favorite characters to life! While your Princess is aflutter, Queens and Kings will enjoy our fully restored vintage train cars from the golden era of rail travel, built in the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. On board the train, your journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15-minute layover at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. A great spot for photos of your Princess with the train!  All ages can ride in all cars on this special ride. There are no adults-only seating areas.
