In the late 80’s, Gin Blossoms started to grow a huge following as the #1 local music draw in Phoenix and certainly were the hometown heroes of their favorite hang, Tempe, Arizona.

Gin Blossoms indelible jangle-pop sound was evolving during radio’s diverse mix of hair bands and grunge music superstars. They qualified to perform at the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin Texas in 1989. That same year College Music Journal dubbed them “The Best Unsigned Band In America” and added an invitation to perform on MTV’s New Music Awards in New York City. Their breakout record New Miserable Experience was where their rise to fame began. This album kept the band on the chart for almost 3 years with singles “Hey Jealousy,” “Allison Road,” Until I Fall Away,” “Mrs. Rita,” and “Found Out About You.” The crossover hits on New Miserable Experience played on 4 radio formats and, to date, have sold over 5 million records.

Those hits were followed up by “Til I Hear It From You” which rocketed to #1 and moved the Empire Records smash soundtrack to platinum status. The track also became Canada's longest-running #1 hit of 1995, its #1 tenure lasting six weeks. This song was co-written with the great Marshall Crenshaw and Billboard described it as “the closest thing to a perfect pop song to hit radio in recent memory.” Their next gem “Follow You Down” spent ten weeks in the top 10, and "As Long As It Matters" earned the band a Grammy nomination for "Best Performance by a Duo or Group” making their Congratulations I’m Sorry record another multi radio format favorite and multi-platinum success.

MALO rose to fame as part of the Latin Rock explosion of the early 70’s along with many San Francisco Bay Area artists and groups including legendary Latin Rock icon Carlos Santana. These groups, led by the success and global acceptance of “Santana”, earned great prominence and came to establish the original American music art form known as Latin Rock.

MALO band is led by original co-founding member and lead singer, Richard Bean the writer, co-composer and voice on the original recording of, “Suavecito.” Combined, the show features five decades of artists that were and are a key part of the core of the MALO music experience. The showcase maintains the element of historical authenticity due to this.

Tierra, a pioneering Chicano band founded in 1972 by Rudy and Steve Salas, achieved national fame in 1981 with their hit song "Together," reaching #14 on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100. Rudy and Steve's tragic passing due to Covid in 2020 and 2022, respectively, has left a void in the music industry, but the Salas family has made the decision to keep their music alive through “Tierra Legacy.”

Tierra has had a remarkable career spanning generations and includes chart-topping hits. The band was named "Best R&B Vocal Group" by four leading magazines, including Billboard, in the early 1980s. They began their career in East Los Angeles with a unique blend of rock, pop, jazz, R&B, and salsa, creating an infectious Latin/R&B rhythm that produced classics such as "Together," "Gonna Find Her” and "Memories," Tierra was also the first Latino/American band to have four songs on national charts and two simultaneously in the Top 100.

Tierra's legacy lives on through the band's new iteration, “Tierra Legacy”, wholly owned by the Salas family. The band includes David Salas (Rudy's son), Richard Salas (Rudy and Steve's brother), original and longtime members who created the hit songs for Tierra, and two fresh and exciting new lead singers. Tierra Legacy continues to captivate fans with a strong social media presence, extraordinary live shows and new music, keeping the dynamic and unforgettable band alive

    Don Felder

No matter how you look at it, 2023 is shaping up to be the Year of the Fingers — Don “Fingers” Felder, that is. Felder, a true American rock and roll guitar hero, is very much looking forward to building upon his rich legacy as one of the most innovative riff-generating songwriters of the modern rock era while continuing his growth as a featured touring and recording solo artist.

To that end, Felder finds himself most decidedly back in the driver’s seat with the release of his first solo album in seven years, American Rock ’N’ Roll (BMG). American Rock ’N’ Roll consists of 11 high-energy rockers mixed with touching, thoughtful ballads. ARnR also boasts a who’s who of A-list guest contributors including Slash, Sammy Hagar, Peter Frampton, Mick Fleetwood, Joe Satriani, Orianthi, Richie Sambora, Alex Lifeson, and many, many more.

Not only is Felder a proud, longstanding member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having been inducted with the Eagles back in 1998, he was also inaugurated into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville in 2016 and the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2017. Fact is, Felder spent 27 years with the Eagles, who own the fine distinction of recording the top-selling album of all time — Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975), which has sold over 38 million copies (and counting). “I’m blessed enough to have contributed to and been a part of a very talented mixture of voices, writing, guitar parts, and production. I’m very proud of that,” he says of the group.

Don left the band in 2001 and has since forged an impressive career as a top-tier solo artist with a three fully realized full-length albums as well and several very successful singles for film scores like Heavy Metal, 1983’s sonically soaring Airborne and 2012’s multifaceted song-cycle treatise, Road to Forever and American Rock ‘N’ Roll. Felder added “best-selling author” to his impressive C.V. when his spellbinding 2008 memoir, Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles (1974-2001), became an instant New York Times smash bestseller.

Felder navigated the burgeoning rock scene in his native Gainesville, Florida, in the 1960s, which included a stint teaching guitar to Tom Petty and learning slide guitar from his longtime friend Duane Allman. His matchless lead-guitar tone added extra fuel to Eagles tracks like “Already Gone,” “One of These Nights,” “Take It to the Limit,” and “New Kid in Town,” in addition to having co-written “Victim of Love,” “Those Shoes,” and his most popular co-creation, “Hotel California.” Felder has also recorded with and performed alongside top-drawer artists such as The Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Warren Zevon, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, and Stephen Stills, whom Don first crossed paths in his first band, The Continentals in Gainesville in the early 1960s.

Spending more and more time on the road as the frontman of his own tight-knit solo band made Felder realize he needed to put in the time to hone his own distinctive voice into a finely tuned instrument. “That’s just how I work,” Don explains. “A lead vocal has to fit the song — it has to fit the timbre and texture of the song. Otherwise, you’re a one-note samba.” Felder counts extended runs with Foreigner, Styx, Peter Frampton’s Guitar Circus, and REO Speedwagon as touring highlights.

The Clairvoyants: Amélie van Tass and Thommy Ten are a world-renowned mentalism duo known as "The Clairvoyants." Born and raised in Austria, they now split their time between their home country and Las Vegas. In 2011, they met and developed their signature "second sight" act, which they brought to the stage just two months later. Within a year, they had developed a full-length show that took Europe by storm.

Their success led to a long-term contract for the show "The Illusionarium" in America in 2014, followed by a featured spot in "The Illusionists," the largest touring magic show in the world. In 2016, they took their talent to the world stage as contestants on "America's Got Talent" Season 11, where they amazed audiences with their incredible performances, earning the runner-up spot in the competition. They also appeared twice on "America's Got Talent: The Champions."

Their incredible talent has earned them numerous accolades, including being named "World Champions of Mentalism" in 2015, a prize that hadn't been awarded in 30 years. They were named "Stage Magicians of the Year" by the Academy of Magical Arts and The Magic Castle Hollywood for their extraordinary art, and in 2020, they were awarded the prestigious "Mandrakes d'Or" in Paris, France.

Village People is one of the most iconic music groups in the world. Their music has become part of the international songbook. The group’s hits are featured in dozens of major motion pictures, on Broadway, in commercials and in “Village People Party” slot machines. Of course, Y.M.C.A (along with its dance) is played at almost every party, wedding, bar mitzvah, and sporting event in the universe.

It began in 1977 when producer Jacques Morali and his partner Henri Belolo, known collectively as Can’t Stop Productions, were recording a new album for their hit group the Ritchie Family, called African Queen and needed background singers. Horace Ott, the arranger/conductor who was working with them, suggested Victor Willis, a singer he was recording who also was performing in the Broadway musical The Wiz. After Willis completed background on the album, Morali approached him about another musical project he and Belolo were planning which turned out to be Village People.

“I had a dream that you sang lead vocals on an album I produced, and it went very, very big,” Morali told Willis. “I have four tracks. I can’t pay you much right now but if you agree, I’ll make you a star.” Willis agreed and the rest is history.

Those initial four tracks, San Francisco (You’ve Got Me), In Hollywood (Everyone’s a Star), Fire Island, and Village People were recorded by Willis with professional background singers and released as the debut album Village People in 1977. The album quickly climbed to the top of the dance charts and became an international hit.

Demand for the “Village People” to appear in concert and on television shows like American Bandstand and Merv Griffin was great. The only problem ... “Village People” was Victor Willis! So Morali, Belolo and Willis had to put together an actual group ... and quick. Morali and Belolo had already met Felipe Rose who dressed as a Native American. They recruited him. Willis brought in Alex Briley, who he’d previously worked with in a musical.

The quickly assembled original lineup appeared with Victor on American Bandstand was Mark Mussler (Construction Worker), David Forrest (Cowboy), Lee Mouton (Leatherman) and Peter Whitehead (nondescript). After that appearance, an ad was placed in a trade paper for ‘permanent’ members which read: Macho Types Wanted for World-Famous Disco Group -- Must Dance and Have a Moustache. Randy Jones, Glenn Hughes and David Hodo answered the call.

Casablanca Records and Filmworks, the group’s label, got behind their second album Macho Man with full promotion and marketing. Village People became an international phenomenon and quickly followed with their third album, the double-platinum Cruisin (which featured the blockbuster Y.M.C.A.). They embarked on a worldwide tour in 1979 to coincide with the release of their fourth album, Go West. The group has received many honors and awards, including the American Music Award for Favorite Musical Group, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was featured on the cover of Rolling Stone.

WAR, one of music’s defining and most enduring soul/funk groups, was founded in Long Beach, California, in 1962. In 1970, producer Jerry Goldstein united the seven-piece band with former Animals lead singer Eric Burdon; the alliance produced the No. 1 worldwide hit “Spill the Wine.” Stepping out on their own in 1971, they launched a fruitful career with a dynamic sound that fused R&B, rock, Latin music, jazz, and blues. In 1973, their smash album The World is a Ghetto vaulted to No. 1 on Billboard’s pop and R&B charts behind the crossover success of two top-10 singles, the album’s socially conscious title song and its rollicking follow-up “The Cisco Kid.” Over a long and glittering career, WAR has rung up more than 20 multi-platinum, platinum and gold albums and singles. This year, fronted by co-founding member Lonnie Jordan, the group will celebrate 50 years of 1973’s #1 Billboard top-selling album, The World is a Ghetto, with a 50-date summer tour, remixes, new releases and more.
