GUARANTEED LAUGHTER!
Nema Williams (Nema meaning "Sun" in Tibetan) was born in Kyoto, Japan, and lived in Katmandu, Nepal with his mother, brother and Tibetan step father. When Nema was 4 years old, he moved to America. His mother, originally from California, picked up residence in Oakland to be closer to her sister. Nema was a shy kid but with some prompting from his cousins he got involved in a youth theater group and fell in love with the. In lieu of tuition, the theater group asked him to mop floors and help build sets. He went on to star in Grease and landed leading roles in two more performances - Oh, What a Lovely War and A Christmas Carol. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding and appreciation of the arts, the youth theater closed its doors. Back on the streets, with little supervision and lots of time on his hands, Nema started hanging on the corner after school with the neighborhood thugs, but turned a corner when he ended up at Dorsey's Locker, a small bar in Oakland, during an open Mic comedy show. He stepped right into a spot on BET Comic View and he never looked back. He's appeared on Comic View 7 times, on Cedric the Entertainer's "Starting line up", in addition to "Comic Grove" on Comedy Central, "What Should You Do" on Life Time, "Comic Remix" again on Comedy Central and Sean "Puffy" Combs's "Bad Boys of Comedy" for HBO. Recently, Nema has gone back to his theater roots on stage in "I Sing 4 Luv", a gospel play, starring Howard Hewett, James Avery, Dawn Lewis and Freda Payne. Nema has gone onto headline colleges and clubs across the country and abroad touring with the Lucky Strike's Tour through Holland and selected cities in Europe, and through the UK with the real deal comedy tour. Nema has been able to return to Asia several times entertaining our military troops in Korea, Japan and Iraq with the USO. Most recently performed on the LOL Comedy Festival on Showtime and Martin Lawrence Presents First Amendment. Most recently Nema was a semi finalist in the stand up for diversity and a finalist for the Keenan Thompson Road to NYC

One of the most popular and highly recognized standup comedians on the road
today has also made quite an impression in the television, film and radio
arenas. DL can currently be heard nationwide as host of his own afternoon radio
show “The DL Hughley Show” which is nationally syndicated in over 60 cities
across the country including the #1 radio market – New York. The radio show
dives head first into hot topics of the day and dishes on the latest news,
entertainment, pop culture and what's trending in social media.
This July 2020, Harper Collins will release DL’s fourth book Surrender, White
People. His two previous satirical titles Black Man, White House: An Oral History
of the Obama Years and How Not to Get Shot...And Other Advice From White
People, became New York Times bestsellers. It was recently announced that
Comedy Central will shoot a docu-comedy series of How Not to Get Shot.
DL continues to dominate the stand up stage, producing specials for Netflix,
Showtime and HBO. His 11th stand up special “DL Hughley: Contrarian” is
currently available on Netflix.
DL also created and starred in the satirical documentary special for Comedy
Central DL Hughley: The Endangered List, which premiered to rave reviews. The
special was honored with the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award at the
72nd Annual Peabody Awards.
Known for being astute and politically savvy in true comedian-style, DL served as
host of his own late night talk shows on CNN and Comedy Central, and was a
series regular on the Aaron Sorkin NBC drama Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. DL
hosted the TBS’s game show Trust Me, I’m a Game Show Host. He also tapped
into his playful side and participated in the 16th season of the hit ABC show
Dancing with the Stars.
As the star and producer of his namesake television show that ran on ABC and
UPN The Hughleys, DL is also well known as one of the standout comedians on
the ground-breaking tour and docu-film The Original Kings of Comedy. A veteran
of numerous talk show appearances, he is a regular on the late night talk show
circuit, including always-memorable appearances on Real Time with Bill Maher,
CNN and The Tonight Show. He is frequently requested as a guest host for such
shows as Good Morning America, The View and Live with Kelly.
DL’s first love always has been, and always will be, standup comedy. “From the
minute I first walked onstage and picked up a microphone,” he says, “I knew that
it was what I was meant to do.”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville’s Tennessean [tennessean.com] sees “wild potential in his
unique ability to connect both with coastal comedy fans and audiences in middle America,”
for fast-rising comedian Dusty Slay thanks in large part to his positive, observational comedy
and distinctive, relatable point of view. That unique point of view will be center stage for his
national Slay All Day Tour this year. Tickets for the just announced tour are on sale now
at dustyslay.com [dustyslay.com].
Named “Best Comedian” by the Nashville Scene [local.nashvillescene.com] in 2019, the man
they also called one of the “most hardworking Music City stand-ups” had a break-out year
with Variety [variety.com] naming him one of their “10 Comics to Watch for 2019.” His
episode of Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Featuring” premiered in May, and he’s now appeared
twice on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” following previous sets on ABC’s
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Last Comic Standing” and “Laughs on Fox.”

Slay, who grew up on Lot 8 of a mobile home neighborhood in Opelika, Alabama, has been
making people laugh his whole life. “I’ve always been funny,” he shares. “In school, I was able
to make the entire class laugh—but also make the teacher laugh. I knew I could do that. But I
never thought, ‘One day I’ll make a living doing this.’ That never crossed my mind.”

Based in his adopted hometown of Nashville, the road warrior sights both the convenience
Music City offers logistically when spending so much time on the road as well as a love of
country music for the decision.

“If I could play guitar, I would be a country singer,” shares Slay. “To do the Opry and then
sleep in my own bed is a dream. I think it does something for country to have a relevant
comedian of the same age as the artists. There was Minnie Pearl, Jerry Clower, Jeff Foxworthy
was on CMT—every music era needs its own comedian.”

Last year Slay became the youngest comedian to ever perform at the legendary Grand Ole
Opry. He’s since notched three appearances on the famed stage in less than six months and
hosted the CMA Fest “Forever Country Stage” in June, entertaining fans between
performances by the biggest stars in country music.

For Dusty Slay, the challenge right now is staying connected to the absurdity of regular, day-
to-day life while chasing the comedian’s dream. “I’ve contemplated getting a side job, just to
get material,” he laughs. “There’s still so much to talk about from my jobs, my childhood, I feel
like I can mine that for many years to come. But if I do write a joke about airports or hotels,
it’s still going to
