BC & The Big Rig bring a wall of sound with powerful groovy riffs, screaming lead guitar, and a slamming rhythm section. Add in 4-part harmonies and the sound is soul-quenching and powerful. There are no boundaries with The Big Rig. They can craft witty 3-minute radio hits, or jam Allman Brothers style until the sun comes up. But one thing is certain, true music fans will appreciate The Big Rig.

As a founding member of the critically acclaimed progressive roots outfit Moreland and Arbuckle, vocalist/harmonica player Dustin Arbuckle has been working hard on the road for over a decade. After 15 years, 7 albums, and hundreds of shows across 23 countries, Moreland & Arbuckle have chosen to amicably go their separate ways.

As one door closes, another opens, and Arbuckle is now ready to explore a wide range of music with his new project, Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations. A musician of vast appetites, he's long held an appreciation for traditional American music in the vein of Charley Patton as well as the cross-pollinated sounds of The Band or Stax-style soul.

The Kansas native marks hearing the Leadbelly classic "Gallows Pole" as his earliest music memory, becoming an astute devotee of the blues by the time he'd reached his teens. "That turned out to be a jumping off point, though," he says. "I always loved Howlin' Wolf, but as I got older and started opening my mind to a wider range of music, I'd turn around and listen to the Allman Brothers Band, then Johnny Cash, Sam & Dave, or Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. I hope you'll hear some of that reach with The Damnations."

Arbuckle is eager to take to stages with The Damnations. "This is a time to shake things up a bit and see what comes out," he says. "The direction the music will go in isn't set in stone and that's a cool place to be at the moment." He adds that he hopes to record with a version of the group in the near future. "I think this will open new possibilities for songwriting too," he says. "It feels like anything could happen."

The Comancheros are known for putting on some of the most energetic live shows in the business. However, they've been able to bottle up some of their energy into their first full length album coming out Nov. 23, 2018. The album, Heavy and Western, will be comprised of eight tracks which are promised to live up to the name of the LP. Heavy and Western comes at the tail end of a highly successful year for The Comancheros. They've released two singles; Time Machine and He was a Preacher as well as played countless live shows and festivals. Just to name a few, they played the Tumbleweed Country Music & Camping Festival and they've shared the stage with Randy Rogers and Drake White. All of these experiences have sharpened the band and allowed them to create an album that exemplifies what it means to be a modern-day cowboy. Sort of The Outlaw Josey Wales meets early AC/DC kind of vibe. So, get ready folks, The Comancheros are here to stay with an album that'll make you wanna break out your time machine and have a weekend.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
"Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils sound like they made a serendipitous wrong turn on their way to the juke joint and wound up in a countrypolitan cathedral instead. It's beautiful and ever so haunting. Westwood's voice is sexy and strong as it applies the seduction over the band's groove and thoughtful reserve.....And the Handsome Devils lay it down as pretty as their golden haired captain. It's honky-tonk with a little less honky. It's atmospheric yet immediate and approachable. It packs a wallop" - Rochester City Newspaper

At the heart of the band is Jennifer and guitarist Dylan Dunbar, who share an affection for gospel, Texas blues, Stax, and Muscle Shoals era artists. Singer Jennifer Westwood cut her teeth on gospel in Detroit before hitting the gritty local bars that set her career in motion; along the way performing back up for acts including Motown's Carl Carlton, adding several Detroit Music Awards to her credit, including one for work with Sponge (Sony) frontman Vin Dombroski on a traditional country recording (Lalar V).

Dylan Dunbar spent his teen years refining his chops in local blues joints, moving on to perform with W.C. Handy award winners such as Chef Chris and Johnny "Yard Dog" Jones, as well as country artist Whitey Morgan. His dynamic playing style is a compliment to Jennifer's broad vocal range and unique sound that invokes influences ranging from Linda Ronstadt to Big Mama Thorton.

The last couple years have seen them performing across the country rather than at home in the rustbelt, growing a family of fans from New York to Texas. They've been on bills with acts such as Hayes Carll, Paul Thorn, Dale Watson, Delbert McClinton, and have performed alongside Patti Smith (with her bandmates backing Smith as well); grateful for every opportunity the road has afforded them.

Fully embracing the character and spirit of Detroit, they consider it an honor to represent a talent filled city of rugged determination, faith and hard working people.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Dallas Moore's old-school country sound developed honestly, following over 20 years of sharing stages and studios with his honky-tonk heroes. Satellite radio support, paired with a willingness to perform over 300 shows a year, finds the seasoned veteran positioned to reach the Americana masses with his forthcoming album Mr. Honky Tonk.

Tastemakers have taken note already, with the Dallas Moore Band crowned the Ameripolitan Music Awards' 2017 Outlaw Group of the Year. The award came after three prior nominations for the band No Depression credits with bringing "hangovers and excitement to outlaw country fans everywhere."

Recent career strides caught the attention of producer/country-music heavyweight Dean Miller, son of Roger Miller and an accomplished songwriter himself, having penned tunes with George Jones, Hank Williams III, Jamey Johnson and more. Miller entered Baird Music Group's Nashville studio with Moore and his band to record what was originally planned to be a five-song EP. "Out of all the things we've ever done, I think Dean captured what I do way better than anyone else we've ever worked with," Moore says. "It was the best recording experience I ever had."

The EP turned album after its barnstorming title track-a song Moore actually wrote 20 years prior-gained serious traction on Sirius XM satellite radio's Outlaw Country channel. The album's other tunes came more recently, all of them written in the past year and a half, making them clearer snapshots of how sharing stages (and rounds of shots) with his country-music idols has impacted his songwriting. "In the last several years, I've been real blessed to tour with a lot of my songwriting influences, and they've helped me improve my craft," Moore says. "Guys like Dean Dillon, Billy Joe Shaver and Ray Wylie Hubbard have been so supportive. It's really cool when your heroes become your friends, and that's what happened in the past several years."

Moore's stage show-already seen in years past by fans of Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard The Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd-has improved with every opportunity to open for an iconic country or Southern-rock artist. "If you're playing in the slot before Dean Dillon," Moore says, "You'd better not suck."

Another crew of country luminaries performed on the album, including harmonica legend Mickey Raphael (Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Chris Stapleton), famed Nashville session bassist Michael Rhodes and pedal-steel master Steve Hinson. "We walked in to the studio and saw all of these incredible players lined up," Moore says. "I thought they were there to play with someone else!"

Even with such ample backing, the main attraction on Mr. Honky Tonk is still Moore and his deft skill as a songwriter and lyricist. Like so many of his inspirations, he's an ace at spinning relatable stories. On "Killing Me Nice and Slow," he weaves an impactful tale of lost love ("It's a long way down when you're higher than a Georgia pine on love and whiskey the night before / Then you hear the slamming of the door"). From there, Moore puts his spin on time-tested country tropes such as celebrating place ("Texahio," a nod to splitting time between Texas and his native Cincinnati) and balancing Saturday-night hellraising with Sunday-morning God praising ("Shoot Out the Lights").

Dallas Moore's music is featured regularly on SiriusXM Satellite Radio's Outlaw Country Channel 60, CMT.com, Yallwire.com and terrestrial AM/FM radio in America, Canada, Europe, Australia and Brazil. You'll also find Moore profiled in the book "Outlaws Still At Large!" by author Neil Alexander Hamilton along with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Blackberry Smoke, Wayne Mills & more.

FFO: Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Bob Wills, Dale Watson, Waylon Jennings ,David Allan Coe, Johnny Cash, Billy Joe Shaver, The Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jamey Johnson, Hank Williams, & Royal Southern Brotherhood.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Eric James Tessmer, actually named after guitar giants Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, is an extraordinary guitarist, musician, singer and songwriter hailing from Austin, TX. He is widely considered one of the most vibrant guitarists to follow in the footsteps of blues-rock legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and his namesake predecessors. His live shows have captured audiences' attention across the United States as power-packed sessions of wickedly fast and precise licks that can light the house on fire without the need for lighter fluid.

Born and raised outside of the small town of Richland Center, Wisconsin, Tessmer began playing at a young age, inspired by his father and grandmother. In 2000, he moved to Austin at the age of 19 to play gigs with numerous musicians and bands, earning local credibility as he honed his craft of riffing with speed, power and control. He later formed his own power trio, the Eric Tessmer Band, in 2003. Through a battered '59 Fender Stratocaster producing vintage-correct tones, Eric kickstarts the engine left idling by guitar players of the past.

Known as one of the hardest working musicians in the area, Tessmer continues to travel the U.S., Canada and Europe. Creating his own brand of 'blues-rock soul-chedelic' sound, he has electrified festivals such as Montreal Jazz Fest, Summerfest, and MusikFest with dialed-in precision and delivered polished performances at clubs, pubs and venues across the land. Sharing the stage with notable musicians such as Dick Dale, Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit, Monte Montgomery, Gary Clark Jr. and Chris Duarte; Tessmer has created a buzz among the blues-rock community that is quickly swarming with devoted disciples.

Fronted by the fierce vocals and presence of Lisa Kekaula (The Basement Jaxx "Good Luck featuring Lisa Kekaula" 47th Annual Grammy Awards) along with Robert Vennum's gut-punching-raucous guitar playing, the band summons memories of sunday school teachings with classic anthems like "Mine All Mine" (Punk Funk Rock Soul V.1) and "Black Lightning". (Black Lighting) "The fact that we have been doing this for almost 30 years in no way diminishes the ferocity of the rock show we bring" says vocalist Lisa Kekaula. "We go out and do this all the time. Music sometimes seems to be a t.v. in the background but that's not us. People need to come see this band and be part of the experience. We're not a cat-click video. Most of the world is missing out on what is The BellRays."

"We take our ear where our heart lives in simple song-writing, making ourselves and hopefully all who hear it feel good," explains singer Lisa Kekaula. "We are proud of its simplicity and love how the new songs sound like old friends. This release is a collection of songs that illustrates why we do what we do. We are not 20 year-olds and that's okay. We are proud of our mileage and journey and PUNK FUNK ROCK SOUL validates our comfort in what music means to us. Viability, trend and meaning are up to the eye of the beholder. For the record...we like to rock."

There comes a moment in every Slim Cessna's Auto Club show when you realize you're seeing something you'll never see anywhere else. It's Slim Cessna in a white cowboy hat and beard, the lights haloing his ungainly frame, horn-rimmed glasses flashing through the smoke. He's trading lyrics and insults with Munly Munly, gaunt and strange, dressed in a shade of black particular to preachers and burnt down barns. Their voices rise and converge in the kind of exquisite harmony usually found in Sacred Harp congregations, and then the band cuts loose, the best live band in the world, and the two men are doing battle, playing out some cathartic war between good and evil on stage. Or trading dance steps. You can't tell.

I said the best live band in the world, and I ain't the only one. No Depression and Spin Magazine have said the same. This is a band that's held its own onstage with everybody from Johnny Cash to the Dresden Dolls. But you listen to the recording of "That Fierce Cow is Common Sense in a Country Dress," and it'll take you just about four minutes before you realize you're listening to the best band in the world, period. It's Lord Dwight Pentacost leading the lunatic rapture on his Jesus and Mary double-necked guitar; Rebecca Vera playing pedal steel so sublimely that I swear to God you can see the ghost of Ralph Mooney circling the stage; and, holding down the rhythm section like they have with each other since seventh grade, The Peeler on drums and Danny Pants on the doghouse bass, driving the band, making you lose your damn mind.

They've been making music for over twenty years, and there is, quite simply, nothing else like it. It's gospel music, is what I've decided. Gospel music for a blasted world. A world straining and bursting in constant pain, but one that can't help but overspill with joy - even knowing better. And the songs, Jesus. Songs about Colorado Indian hater John Chivington, alien abductions, patricide, a man born without a spine. This is the wild, bloody and weird America of Harry Crews, the only America worth a damn. It's what Flannery O'Connor was trying to say when she wrote of dark romances and the grotesque. If you've got a heart, these songs'll break it, and if you've got any laughter left in you, they'll beat it out of you until you cry.

I probably can't improve on what Jello Biafra said about Slim Cessna's Auto Club, that they're "the country band that plays the bar at the end of the world." But I like to think that as long as they're around, they can still save us from that end. Or at least from what currently passes as country music.
