Kansas Largest Night Rodeo, known to many as the Pretty Prairie Rodeo, is a longstanding rodeo and western heritage tradition since 1936. Every July, our small community of Pretty Prairie hosts a four-night event that is attended by thousands. Money raised stays in our community, providing scholarships to our high school seniors and assisting with the financial needs of groups such as Prairie Sunset Home, our local food bank, scout troops, 4-H club, and numerous school groups and activities. Our rodeo has four separate performances: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Each night, gates open at 6 pm, rodeo starts at 8 pm, and rodeo dance immediately follows the performance. Wednesday and Thursday nights are Family Nights, with kids 12 and under admitted free for General Admission seating. Inflatables are also provided for kids. Friday and Saturday nights' rodeo dance features a live band.
