FAMILY WORKSHOPS
SEEC's workshops offer a variety of hands-on experiences that introduce young children to concepts in engaging ways. Each class begins with playful classroom activities that are intentionally chosen to support your child’s development. The learning continues when the class moves into a museum where children and parents are encouraged to learn and explore together as a family.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Your infant may be too young to get their scuba diving license, but you can never be too young to learn about ocean animals. Discover what lies beneath the ocean and how we can explore the deep waters through fishing and diving.







Age Range: 4 - 12 months

Program begins at the National Museum of Natural History, Constitution Avenue Lobby.

We will read and dance to Sandra Boyton's Barnyard Dance and then go on to explore farm animals. We will connect our classroom exploration with Alexander Calder's sculpture animals.
