Together, LANCO is Brandon Lancaster (lead vocals), Chandler Baldwin (bass), Jared Hampton (keyboards, banjo), Tripp Howell (drums), and Eric Steedly (lead guitar).
Formed in 2012, LANCO was born of a chance meeting between Howell and Nashville native Lancaster – each performing in bands at the same festival – just as Howell was readying a move to Music City the same week that Lancaster was returning from college. Once in Nashville, Lancaster met Steedly through mutual friends, while Hampton and Baldwin followed shortly thereafter, with the young band gigging at every opportunity. The first result of their collaboration is LANCO’s four-song self-titled EP. Featured tracks include the lead single, “Long Live Tonight,” as well as “We Do,” “American Love Story” and “Trouble Maker.” The EP offers first-time LANCO listeners a taste of the distinctive style that defines the band’s music, from production to songwriting.
Now looking forward to the release of their upcoming full-length debut album, LANCO is among the first acts signed to Sony Music Nashville since the arrival of new Chairman & CEO Randy Goodman. Assigned to the label group’s Arista Nashville imprint (home to Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and more), the band was an immediate win with Goodman, who offered them a deal on the spot the first time he heard them live.
A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, singer/songwriter Travis Denning’s current Top 20 single “After A Few” follows his Top 40 debut single “David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs.” Following kicking off 2020 as direct support on Dustin Lynch’s STAY COUNTRY TOUR, Denning will join Sam Hunt this summer as a special guest on his THE SOUTHSIDE SUMMER TOUR. The tour will kick off on May 28 in Charlotte, NC at PNC Music Pavilion, with coast to coast stops through September this year. Denning has previously opened shows for Cole Swindell, Alan Jackson, LANCO, Riley Green and his first headlining “Heartbeat Of A Small Town Tour.” With over 134 million streams worldwide, Denning has been spotlighted by Billboard for his “future star power” and was selected this past year as an Opry NextStage recipient and CMA KixStart Artist, as he makes his mark within the industry. Inspired at a young age, Denning developed a love for country, pop, rock and heavy metal and started playing local bars from the age of 16, as he built a strong following from his distinctive songs and raucous guitar solos. A prolific writer with an unquestionable stage presence, Denning moved to Nashville and secured outside cuts by Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Michael Ray and Chase Rice. Denning’s newest songwriting cut includes Michael Ray’s current Top 25 single “Her World or Mine” that is continuing to climb the charts at Country radio.
A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Smith earned his first Top 10 hit as a songwriter with Love and Theft’s 2009 debut, “Runaway.” He’s built on that success with more co-written hits including cuts by Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Cole Swindell – as well as Big Loud Records/Atlantic Records breakout star Mason Ramsey, who has made the Smith co-write “Famous” into a viral smash in 18 countries. As an artist, Smith’s co-written 2014 single “Love You Like That” became a PLATINUM-certified #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and was followed up by the Top 25 hit “Hole In a Bottle.” His 2017 single, “This Night Back,” has racked up over 30 million digital streams and counting, helping launch the unique entertainer into the next chapter of his career. Smith has been revealed as the first artist signed to Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line’s newly- formed label, Round Here Records, with the infectious positivity of his new tracks “Beer Drinkin’ Weather,” “Country Boy Things”, “Life Ain’t Fair,” and “Pour Decisions” leading the charge. Recently wrapping his role as featured performer on Florida Georgia Line’s CAN’T SAY I AIN’T COUNTRY TOUR, the rowdy hitmaker will kick off his headlining POUR DECISIONS TOUR in February, with plans to roll out more new music in the coming months.
