Leaving Austin
With a profound sense of brotherhood, a passionate love of music and a fierce determination, Leaving Austin is forging a path in country music that’s solely their own. Comprised of Austin Machado, Davis Forney and Michael Stevens, the trio’s smooth vocals and distinctive songwriting have made them one of the most sought after bands in Nashville. In less than a year, they’ve garnered co-writes with some of country music’s most successful songwriters including Jimmy Robbins (“We Were Us”, “It Goes Like This”), Scooter Carusoe (“Anything But Mine”, “Mean To Me”), Chris DeStefano (“Kick The Dust Up”, “Something In The Water”), Chris Dubois (“Buy Me A Boat”, “Today”) and- Thomas Archer (“Hurricane,” “You Broke Up with Me”).
But their path to this point hasn’t been as quick. Hailing from Visalia, California, a small farming town nestled in the far corners of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, they were all raised on the importance of faith, family and the belief that nothing was going to be handed to them. Country, pop and rock and roll became the soundtrack of their days working in farming and construction alongside their family and friends.
“I lived 40 feet from my grandpa’s house,” said Austin. “I just wanted to work on the farm like my dad and grandpa did. I loved it. My dad plays guitar and sings too so I grew up listening to everything from Van Halen and Boston to Ricky Skaggs, Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson to Michael W. Smith.”
“My mom was 90% Shania Twain while my dad was pure rock and roll,” said Michael. “I fell somewhere in the middle listening to a mix of pop, rock, Christian and eventually country. I spent my days making cattle feed on a local dairy farm. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me a great work ethic.
Davis, who credits his father as one of his biggest influences, always thought he would work in construction like his dad.

Originally from Southwest Ohio, Michael grew up singing and playing piano as a hobby when he wasn’t playing sports. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the US Army and served four years on active duty. During his last year in the Army, Michael decided to teach himself how to play guitar and started writing songs. He started out playing in small local dive bars, and quickly branched out. Now based out of Nashville TN, Michael tours nationwide and has opened for major artists such as Dylan Scott, Jamey Johnson, and Eli Young Band. He has since released his first singles with Rukkus Room Publishing, and is on tour.

With a little bit of rock, a hell of a lot of soul, and a throwback R&B groove, Kassi Ashton has crash landed on country radio. “Dates In Pickup Trucks,” her irresistible debut radio single dropped in February, on the eve of her own 28th birthday. “It feels powerful,” she says of the moment’s alignment. Speaking about the song’s playfulness, she adds, “I want it to show that there are many sides to me.”
The release marks the critical next step for the buzzy young singer. Named to Ones to Watch lists by publications like Huffington Post and The Tennessean as well as juggernaut radio personality Bobby Bones, Ashton spent 2019 as one of the openers on Maren Morris’s GIRL World Tour. In 2018, she was featured on Keith Urban’s CMA Album of the Year-nominated LP, Graffiti U.
The simmering new song, it turns out, has a surprising origin story: an uncharacteristically giddy phone call between Ashton and her grandmother. One of nine children and known for her take-no-prisoners attitude, the singer was shocked when, one day, her elder fell into a fit of giggles on the other end of the line. “She’s like, ‘Me and your grandpa went on a date last night,’” Ashton recalls. “‘I made dinner, we packed it up in the truck, and we drove around all the roads we hadn’t seen in a long time.’”

Good things come to those who wait, but luck favors the bold. And for Jeremy McComb, the balance comes natural. A storyteller epitomizing “been there and done that,” McComb has explored nearly every facet of the entertainment industry, all on his own terms. From radio to tour managing, releasing five albums, growing an international fan base, hitting the Billboard charts and writing songs for projects selling over 6 Million copies … including a Grammy-nominated soundtrack (Blue Collar Comedy Tour – One for the Road).
Proudly and fiercely independent in both spirit and style, Jeremy was born in Idaho as a sixth-generation musician. Music is in McComb’s DNA but he’s a distinct branch on the family tree. Tim Montana
Whether he’s performing onstage with ZZ Top in front of a crowd of thousands, kicking it with his friend Dave Grohl at a Foo Fighters gig or racing ATVs with extreme-sports star Travis Pastrana, Tim Montana has a knack for always being in the right place at the right time. But don’t chalk it up to luck. Rather, it’s Montana’s innate talent, unrelenting hustle and magnetic charisma that have made the country-rock singer-songwriter a dude that everyone — from the famous to the blue-collar — wants to be around.
Raised in the wilds near Butte, Montana, Tim Montana (yes, it’s his real name), entered the world as an off-the-grid thrill-seeker. He and his buddies would take to the nearby mountains to fish, hunt and raise hell as an escape from their rustic home lives — Montana grew up without electricity. Soon, however, he sought out a different high: the kind that only comes from performing live music. Eager to perfect the guitar playing he began when he was just 6 years old, he moved to Los Angeles to put his time in studying his craft.
“Music was an escape from being secluded in the woods. When I played guitar and closed my eyes I was leaving Butte and seeing the world,” Montana says. “When I moved to L.A., I went from having no electricity to living on Hollywood Boulevard. It was quite the culture shock.”
Randy Couture
A high school wrestling state champion, U.S. Army soldier, three-time NCAA All-American, international Greco-Roman competitor and six-time UFC World Champion and Hall of Famer, Randy Couture is a true icon in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and the (UFC). In addition to his stellar standing in combat sports, Randy is also a successful businessman, actor and best-selling author.
December of 1997, at the age of 33, Randy made his debut into the world of professional fighting claiming victory in the Heavyweight division of his first appearance in the UFC and soon earning the moniker of “Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture.” Randy has fought in 16 title fights and has six UFC title reigns in the Lightweight and Heavyweight divisions. A rock and roll heart, country roots, and spellbinding songcraft: Recording and performing artist Mark Mackay has left his boot prints on stages like Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre. As a headliner, a festival act, or highlighting bills across the country with an array of performers — including Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, and Eli Young Band, plus rockers like REO Speedwagon, Night Ranger and 38 Special — Mark Mackay captivates audiences with fretboard mastery and memorable hooks.
Mark says that the cancellation of his arduous touring schedule, allowed for a deeper exploration of his craft and new ways to communicate. “When the pandemic started, I didn’t know how to use a single recording program,” he explains. “But I ran to the music store, bought an interface and a MIDI keyboard, and learned how to mic guitars, do demos, create Livestream performances, and connect with people one on one.”
Mark has also teamed up with a formidable co-writer and co-producer, Jeffrey Steele, a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee with GRAMMY nominations and multiple BMI and NSAI Songwriter of the Year honors. The country singer has single handedly acquired millions of views across social platforms and been recognized by Billboard as a "A ferocious newcomer with ceiling scraping vocals". Her viral song "Six Feet Deep" is sitting at 5 million views on Tik Tok/ instagram and counting. Released on April 21st, the song debuted at #3 on the American Country iTunes chart. Since releasing his debut album Bombs Away in 2020, Chris Colston has been sweeping through the Texas music scene. He has built a dedicated fanbase playing sold-out stadium shows with Koe Wetzel and touring with some of the most sought-after performers in the genre, including Parker McCollum, HARDY, Eli Young Band and Casey Donahew.
His musical story began at a young age when his stepfather signed him up for drum lessons, leading him to eventually pick up the guitar. Not long after, he formed his first band and hit the road playing anywhere that would let him in the door. He honed his musical sound playing for some of the most discerning music afficionados in Texas, where the threshold for anything contrived is the distance between the stage and a beer bottle. Finding his voice in an area known for producing outstanding musical talent set the bar and contributed to his personal style, which he describes as “gritty Texas roots combined with rock n’ roll.” Colston is currently in the studio working on a new album, set to be released later this year.

Birge (rhymes with “merge”) was scrolling through the TikTok account he had just created when he came across a star of the platform poking fun at country music. Erynn Chambers, known to her three-quarter of a million followers as Rynnstar, joked that many country songs are just repetitious ditties about beer, trucks, and girls. To her credit, she had a point, but Birge was determined to prove to Rynnstar that in the right hands even the most mundane of phrases can inspire a great, multi-layered song.
With that in mind, the Texas-born, Nashville-based songwriter grabbed his guitar and wrote “Beer Beer, Truck Truck,” an up-tempo sing-along that is about far more than those writing-room tropes. It’s about missing the one you love and wooing them to come back. “I know the city called you, go baby spread your wings/I’ll be here waiting on you, out here in the country,” Birge sings.
“The whole point was to say that, yeah, the country lifestyle may not be as flashy or as fast-paced as the city, but there's more to it than meets the eye — and if you give me a chance, I'll show you how good it can be,” Birge says. As the lyrics drive home, it’s not all “beer, beer/truck, truck/girls in them tight jeans.”
Produced by Ash Bowers, “Beer Beer, Truck Truck” blends the studio loops and effects that power country music’s modern-day hits with the traditional sounds that Birge heard growing up in Austin — his family are such George Strait fans that his mom jokes he was named after the Texas icon and not George Birge Sr.
The end result is both interesting and irresistible.

Kaleb Austin
Kaleb Austin grew up in a large family full of musicians and was constantly exposed to live music, mostly country and rock. This cultivated a deep love and connection with performing from a very early age, specifically performing country music. At 14, he began with a few guitar lessons, which quickly became useful in writing his own music. Songwriting then blossomed into a creative outlet for him to express his life.
During his senior year of high school, this skill would prove useful as his world was turned upside down with the news of becoming a young father. Predictably, he didn't have a clue how to express the whirlwind of emotion at such a young age. So, he turned to the pen and paper. Over the course of a few years, he decided to take songwriting to the next level and moved to Nashville to learn from the best in the world. He immediately got busy writing and co-writing as many songs as possible.
After almost a year, he moved back to his native state of Utah due to family reasons. However, he returned armed with the songwriting skills he needed and penned his first #1 hit single "Sound of the South" shortly after returning to Utah. On January 19, 2021 this single debuted at #1 on the iTunes country chart and was the third most downloaded song in all of country music the week of its release.

Lauded by Rolling Stone as “an ambitious, entrepreneurial guitar heroine primed to bring back the pop-country glory of the Nineties,” Caroline Jones is a multi-genre singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist enriching the country scene with her unique, independent spirit. She officially joined multi-platinum GRAMMY-Award winning Zac Brown Band in 2022 as a full-time band member, making her the first and only female. Her sophomore album, Antipodes (November 2021), debuted at #4 on the iTunes Country Chart and its lead single, “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself Comfortable),” is Jones’ first Top 30 country hit that is still climbing the charts thanks to its viral TikTok line dance that has been played over 540 million times. As with her debut album Bare Feet (August 2017), Caroline co-produced Antipodes with Ric Wake (Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston), performed majority of the instruments, and solo wrote majority of the tracks. Born and raised in Georgia, Megan Moroney grew up in a musical household heavily influenced by legendary songwriters in Classic Country, Southern Rock, and Americana. After opening stints on tours with Larry Fleet, Chase Matthews, Jamey Johnson, and Warren Zeiders last year, she is kicking off her first headline run with the SOLD-OUT PISTOL MADE OF ROSES TOUR this spring and set to open for Brooks & Dunn this summer.
