PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
I first met William Clark Green in about 2010, at that time just emerging among Texas' musical cast of characters as a young hopeful. Most clear in my memory, even amid the party that a live music backstage scene can tend to be, Will was the happiest guy in the place – clearly exactly where he wanted to be, and loving every second. This was a contagious vibe from the outset, one that Will had no trouble channeling into music that rings in the heart of the listener, and a live show as inspiring as it is entertaining. Between two acclaimed and successful albums, 2012’s Rose Queen and 2015’s Ringling Road, and what now clocks in at a near-decade's worth of dogged road work, William Clark Green has established himself as one of the most important voices of his genre - a voice that now pipes up again on his anticipated new album, Hebert Island.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
A look back to Smash Mouth's formative years shows us a band determined to make an impact from the get go. Formed in late 1994, the band immediately begins recording demos and showcasing in both San Jose and Hollywood CA. In June 1997, Smash Mouth is signed to Interscope Records when label brass catch wind of an unknown (and unsigned) band being ADDED to highly-influential L.A. radio station KROQ's playlist after only one (!) spin of their song "Walkin' on the Sun". Smash Mouth's major-label debut "Fush Yu Mang" goes more than DOUBLE PLATINUM and sets the table for what most consider their masterpiece, the brilliant follow-up album "Astrolounge". No sophomore slump for these guys. Boasting three top-ten hits ("All-Star," "Then the Morning Comes," and "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby,") sales for "Astrolounge" are nearly double those for their debut, approaching QUADRUPLE PLATINUM status. Smash Mouth's third eponymous Interscope release features the ecstatic first single "Pacific Coast Party" and the smash hit "I'm a Believer". Around this time, Smash Mouth crosses over to the film world by providing the musical heart of the soundtrack for "Shrek" and even making a cameo appearance in the movie "Rat Race". In recent years, Smash Mouth has focused on touring and entertaining troops in places like Japan, Guam, Guantanamo Bay, Afganistan, and Iraq.

Psymbionic :: Gravitas Recordings x Lowtemp
Cresting the modern wave of electronic producers, Psymbionic creates aural experiences that explore the range of
multi-tempo Bass Music within an influential and dynamic culture. With an ear for situational relevance, Psymbionic
enjoys turning non-traditional sound design and infectious rhythms into dancefloor heat, while also maintaining his
history in the downtempo, emotive side of the electronic sound.
John Burcham has been moving bodies and turning heads as Psymbionic for several years in all corners of the USA,
playing with acts such as Bassnectar, STS9, Big Gigantic, ill.Gates, Excision, EOTO, and Tipper. His passion and
innovation in the music world are showcased through album releases on Muti Music and MalLabel, as well as in his
role as label manager for the popular Electronic imprint Gravitas Recordings.
In a live show context, Psymbionic confronts mixes that are limited to the scope of the build and release, avoiding an
industry epidemic of drop-monotony that overpowers the flow of music. Burcham seeks to prove that there are more
powerful influences in moving a crowd than simple tension, providing an interwoven dynamic that relies on the
strength of his blend, rather than the sole force or familiarity of the apex.
Psymbionic’s theory of music is a journey that doesn’t visit the same place twice, building excitement for what’s next
not because you can anticipate it, but because you’ve never been there before.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Growing up during a time when mainstream radio could still show love to throwbacks, Kyle Park was soaking up the tunes of Roger Miller, Merle Haggard, George Jones and the list goes on. It was his Dad that introduced him to classic country, the lyrically driven storytelling of Opry legends that would eventually help mold him into the artist that he is today.

After the loss of his dad in 1998, Kyle found healing in country music. He picked up a guitar at the age of 14 and never looked back, with his first paid gig coming one year later. At the time, he couldn’t see far enough down the road to realize that he was beginning a career as a singer/songwriter.

“I was really only focusing on playing country music. That’s all I wanted to do at the time, and all the time. I made my first record simply because I wanted to record the songs I had written. I hadn’t grasped that this was ever going to take me where it has, on an indescribable musical journey.”

By the time he had released his debut album (‘Big Time’) in 2005 at the age of 20, Kyle was performing hour-long shows with more than fifty-percent of his own music. Coming a long way from performing for his family in the backyard, this young man from Leander (north of Austin) was quickly becoming one of the hottest names in the Texas country music scene.

Thirteen years into his professional career, Kyle and his band have played in more than five countries, playing shows from Alaska to Germany, and frequenting more than a dozen states on a regular basis.

He's impressively had seven #1 singles on the Texas Regional Radio Report (TRRR) and eleven singles on the Texas Music Chart’s Top 10. His limited edition 'Fall EP' (now part of the “Make or Break Me full-length album) peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers South Central list. Kyle’s reaped consistent national press coverage from CMT, TCN (The Country Network), Taste of Country, Country Weekly, All Music, Guitar World and more. He was direct support for numerous notable and legendary artists including George Strait, Clint Black, Mark Chestnutt, Gary Allan and more.

So, where do you go from here? Back where you came from!

Kyle’s latest project, his sixth studio album Don’t Forget Where You Come From leans exactly in the direction you would expect.

Inspired by the style of music he grew up listening to, this new album is a return to Kyle’s signature neo-traditional country sound brimming with honkytonk-fueled fiddle, pedal steel and searing guitar riffs punctuated by his most honest and contemplative lyrics to date.

Don’t Forget Where You Come From is Kyle’s reaffirmation record, focusing back on the storytelling side of country music.

“I believe that this record carries more meaning and much better stories than anything else I’ve released. It’s a storytelling album, what I believe country music is and has always been: lyrics first.”

Recorded in Austin at Ray Benson’s Bismeaux Studio, Don’t Forget Where You Come From was produced by Park and boasts nine original tracks written or co-written by Park, along with one cover tune.

Kyle has worked hard to develop himself as a writer and a producer, making regular trips to Nashville for writing sessions and producing music for other artists as well as his own.

Even though this newest release is Kyle’s way of bringing things full-circle, we can’t expect any signs of things slowing down.

“I’m a “lifer.” I was fortunate enough to find my passion very early in life.”

With six records under his belt, it’s safe to say that there is plenty more to come down the road.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Two important events occurred during the making of White Is Relic/Irrealis Mood. I became “Simulated Reality” paranoid and I fell in LOVE.

Well a lot more happened during the process of writing and recording, but those are the two big ones. I also reached a healthy point of self-forgiveness for my failed marriage and became deeply educated in the lies of America the Great.

I feel like a switch was recently turned on in my brain and now I’m beginning to see through the lies that have been fed to me my whole life by the masters of media and by those who control and manipulate the narrative of our cultural identity and social order.

My paranoia began during the presidential election cycle and reached a dangerous peak shortly after the inauguration. In the meantime I watched and read countless works of art in a mad effort to be reminded of how many truly brilliant people there are living/struggling among us and to try to maintain a positive outlook. The works of Angela Davis, Noam Chomsky, Chris Kraus, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and the Autobiographies of Malcolm X and Mark E Smith were all great inspirations, to name a few.

Musically, I was very inspired by the extended dance mixes that people used to make for pop singles back in the ‘80s. It’s so cool how a lot of the 80’s hits had these really intricate and interesting longer versions that wouldn’t get played on the radio and could only be heard in the clubs. I used that template with these tracks, I wanted them all to feel like the extended “club edit” of album tracks.

I also decided to abandon the “live band in a room” approach that I had been using on the recent albums and work more on my own or remotely with collaborators. I used the same drum sample packs throughout because I wanted the album to have a rhythmic continuity to it. I wanted the drums to have a strong and consistent identity, similar to how Prince’s Linn Electronics LM-1 drum machine played such an important role on his classic albums. Zac Colwell also played a huge role on this album, adding saxophones and synths to most of the songs. I also got a lot of help from long time collaborators, and “of Montreal” touring members, Clayton Rychlik and JoJo Glidewell.

The two title concept came to me when I was thinking about how difficult it is to frame the message of a song with just one title, because so often the songs are about so many different subjects. ‘White Is Relic’ was inspired by James Baldwin’s writings regarding the creation and propagation of a toxic American White identity. I’ve come to learn how it’s just a tool wielded by the 1% to give poor white people a false sense of superiority in an effort to keep the masses placated and numb to how deeply we’re all getting fucked by our capitalist rulers. An ‘Irrealis Mood’ is a linguistic indicator that something isn’t yet reality but does have the potential to become so.

I’m always searching for new identities so this concept of the death of “Whiteness” appeals to me greatly. Might be the only way to save the world.

Yngwie Malmsteen is one of rock's premiere virtuoso guitarists. Yngwie has dominated the world of solo guitar for two decades. When he was barely 20, Yngwie exploded onto the music scene with his jaw-dropping technique of lightning fast harmonic minor scalar riffing. His 1984 album, "Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force," established seemingly overnight the style now referred to a neo-classical melodic rock. A legend in both style and technique, Yngwie's long career reach new heights when his totally classical work for orchestra and solo electric guitar, "Concerto Suite," was released, proving that his classical credentials were genuine. A respected musician among both his peers and his fans, Yngwie continues to play and compose at a level of mastery that many career musician only dream of.

FASTER PUSSYCAT
Sleaze: immoral, sordid, and corrupt behavior or material.
No band epitomizes Hollywood sleaze more than Faster Pussycat. Countless bands have adopted their look and demeanor in order to try and ride the Hollywood wave to success. Most fail. For those bands it’s a costume...an act. For Faster Pussycat it’s a way of life. They said it best in their own song “Sex, drugs & Rock- n-Roll” off their 2006 album “The Power and the Glory Hole”. However don’t be mistaken, they are much more than an image. First and foremost they are a rock n roll band that has put out consistently great records and given it all on stage, where it counts the most.
BANG TANGO:
Although Bang Tango was often lumped in with the whole 80's glam metal movement (perhaps due to their pretty-boy looks and the fact that they hailed from Los Angeles), the hard-rockin' quintet was one a few L.A. glam groups to incorporate funk into its sound - around the same time as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Faith No More made it acceptable to do so. Their line up consisted of Joe Leste' (Vocals), Kyle Stevens (Guitar), Mark Knight (Guitar), Kyle Kyle (Bass), and Tigg Ketler (Drums), and piqued the interest of Mechanic/MCA shortly after the quintet issued their first in-concert recordings, 1987's "Live Injection".
Their major-label debut, Psycho Cafe, was issued in 1989. MTV's Headbangers Ball gave significant air time to their single "Someone Like You", and eventually it became a mainstay on the dial MTV charts. The group continued to issue albums throughout the early 1990's including "Dancin' On Coals", "Ain't No Jive...Live!" and the critically acclaimed "Love After Death".
