"End Of The Line” is a tribute to The Allman Brothers Band, and guaranteed to be unlike anything you’ve ever heard, or seen. Comprised of 6 members from varying musical backgrounds, we provide a comprehensive and authentic musical experience, faithful to the original spirit of The Allman Brothers Band. With our members ages ranging from the mid 20s - early 40s, “End Of The Line” brings to the table a studied and mature sound, performed with an explosive and youthful energy unlike any other ABB tribute experience out there.
“Any music venue looking for a great Allman Brothers Band Tribute needs to look no further than ‘End of The Line’ out of Nashville, TN. I have booked them many times over the past couple of years and they always blow me away. Led by the silky smooth vocals and keyboard playing of Justin Smith, the twin lead guitar interaction between Conor Kelly and Adam Gorman that reminds one of the Haynes-Trucks era, these guys will make you feel as if you are in The Beacon Theatre witnessing history. Drummer Chase Bader is both the backbone of Butch and the jazzy flashes of Jaimoe rolled into one. Percussionist Ryan McClanahan fills in the gaps beautifully in a way that would make Marc Quinones proud. Veteran Bassist Casey Conway brings the thunder and the funk that will rattle a dead man’s spine. These guys are also great people who fill the room full of love and joy. True professionals without big egos. I never get tired of ‘End of The Line.’ As a self proclaimed ‘Peach Head’ and an arm chair historian of The Allman Brothers Band, when I need a ABB tribute act, they are my first choice!“

SCOTT COOK

“As good a modern folkie as we have these days. A perfect voice for the genre. An understanding beyond the norm.”
                                                       -No Depression

“…beautifully written lyrics, intricate chordal patterns and a refreshing plain-spoken vocal clarity.”
                                                -Maverick Country

Cook is one of the hardest-working DIY troubadours on the road today, averaging around 150 shows including a dozen festivals every year since 2007.  All the hard miles notwithstanding, he still believes that songs can change your life, and your life can change the world.

CARY MORIN
“…great songs delivered by a band of the highest caliber South Louisiana musicians, just brimming with hooks, infectious rhythm and deep soul.”
                                                       -Glide Magazine

“…the thing about Morin is his voice, textured and steady, is the glue holding the songs together. You’re not drawn to the vocals because they dominate the tracks - it’s the opposite.”
                                                        -No Depression

Described as “one of the best acoustic pickers on the scene today,” Cary Morin brings together the great musical traditions of America like no other. With deft fingerstyle guitar and vocals that alternately convey melodic elation and gritty world-weariness, Morin crafts an inimitable style often characterized as roots-infused Native Americana with hints of bluegrass, folk, blues, and rock. He has performed at renowned venues across the globe, including the Kennedy
Center and Lincoln Center, and is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades.

David Bromberg remarks, "Cary Morin is a unique and brilliant guitar player, songwriter and singer. As a guitar player, I have huge respect for Cary’s style and technique.... If you haven’t heard him yet, you should. Try to remember that it’s only one guitar.” Music critic Bill Hurley writes, “His guitar skill is jaw-dropping, his voice is warm, worn of world experience, and his songwriting allows both of those things to flourish and captivate anyone in the room.”

SkynFolks was formed as a result of some very devoted musicians who wanted to bring a little more to the game than what they’d seen from Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Bands. They also knew how discriminating and tough real Skynyrd fans can be so they set their performance bar high……really high.

"Jill Sobule can claim her place among the stellar New York singer-songwriters of the last decade. Topical, funny and more than a little poignant ...grown-up music for an adolescent age."
                                                      -New York Times

Jill Sobule, an award-winning artist with the ECR Music Group, has released a dozen of albums spanning  three decades of recording, tackling such topics as the death penalty, anorexia nervosa, shoplifting,  reproduction, the French Resistance, adolescent malaise, LGBTQ issues, and the Christian Right, to name a  few - with her trademark wit and aplomb.

On stage, she entertains, amuses, provokes, and more often than not, takes her audiences on an emotional  roller coaster, from comedy to pathos in a few bars of music, often within the same song.

Jill Sobule’s recording career began in 1990 with the album Things Here Are Different (MCA), produced by  Todd Rundgren. Radio took notice thanks to the single’s “Too Cool To Fall In Love”. Her 1995 self-titled album  (Atlantic) brought her mainstream commercial and critical success with two hit singles: the satirical gem  “Supermodel” from the movie Clueless and “I Kissed A Girl” (the original), the first ever openly queer-themed  Billboard Top 20 record.

For her most recent album, the Ben Lee-produced Nostalgia Kills, Sobule turned her warm wit and laser focused poet’s eye on herself more than ever before. For all its graceful, funny, and heartbreaking explorations  of awkward youth and grown-up regrets, Nostalgia Kills is as of-the-moment as anything in Jill Sobule’s catalog. Through her own experiences, she explores issues our society still collectively struggles with (LGBTQ  rights, teen mental health, our unhealthy obsession with staying forever young) and gently skewers our  tendency to dwell on the past at the expense of addressing the present.

Sobule has performed with Neil Young, Billy Bragg, Steve Earle, Cyndi Lauper, Tom Morello, Warren Zevon,  and John Doe. She inducted Neil Diamond into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. She has shared billing with Don  Henley, Joe Jackson, Warren Zevon, the influential LA punk band X, and Lloyd Cole & The Negatives. She  regularly co-stars with comedian/actress/author/SNL alumni Julia Sweeney in their Jill & Julia Show, an  unusual and mesmerizing combination of song and storytelling. A road warrior, she plays more than 100  shows a year.

In November of 2019 Jill sang a song as herself on an episode of the Simpsons. Most recently, Sobule has  been working on two projects: an autobiographical show directed by two-time Obie-winner Lisa Petersen,  (titled F**k 7th Grade!) which will premiere in May 2020 at Pittsburgh’s City Theater, and another concept  album, this time a series of short musical portraits of working women, which she expects to complete within  the year.

Jesup, Georgia born multi-instrumentalist Randall Bramblett may be known as Southern Rock Royalty for playing on stage with rock heroes like Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers Band, Steve Winwood (16 years) and Widespread Panic. And respected for his songwriting - he penned the title track for the Grammy nominated Blind Boys of Alabama's new album, adding to a long catalog of songs covered by Raitt, Gregg Allman, Bonnie Bramlett, Hot Tuna, Delbert McClinton, Bettye LaVette and more. But it's Bramblett's own career as frontman, creating 11 albums, where his artistry is in full display.

LEVI LOWREY

In the sixth grade, Lowrey began taking classical violin lessons and soon moved on to playing fiddle music, taking in and assimilating all the instrumental techniques and flourishes he saw on display at the Chicken House.

His next move was to join Sonia Leigh’s band as a fiddler. “All the while I was writing my own stuff,” he recalls, “coming up with my own voice and kind of figuring out what I had to say. About two years after I went with Sonia, I started playing out on my own and doing my own thing a lot more. I eventually decided to make music my full time profession. I was working construction at the time as a framer. So I quit my job and played just as much as I possibly could. I think one year—between my gigs and hers—we did over 285 shows. It was the only way we could make any money. You just kind of went up there and busted your ass, maybe for $25 bucks, especially in Athens. In some joints you got paid your bar tab.”

After touring with Leigh for years, Lowrey found himself playing on the same bill with Zac Brown at the Dixie Tavern in Marietta, Georgia. “Zac’s star was rising and he ended up forming a record label,” Lowrey says. “Sonia and I both signed to it on the same day. About then, Sonia and I went our separate ways. With my obligations as a recording artist, I couldn’t play with her fulltime. I hit the road with Zac and toured with him for several years. And I wrote a bunch of good songs with him. When the label folded, I went completely independent and put out My Crazy Head in 2015. Roots and Branches is my second independent release.”

It was while touring with Brown that Lowrey realized it was time to choose what he wanted to achieve with his music. He and Brown were sitting on the bus before a show “either in Greenville, South Carolina or Greensboro, North Carolina” when Brown asked the crucial question. “Zac said, ‘Do you want to be me—to follow this path that I’m on [to stardom]—or do you want to be Darrell Scott?’ Darrell Scott’s my heroin that he found something to say and a voice to say it with and the determination to control what he will and won’t do. And I chose then and still choose to this day ‘to be’ Darrell Scott.”

JEFFERSON ROSS

Jefferson Ross is my favorite Southern songwriter.

Here’s a man who knows this part of his country like William Faulkner knew his imaginary Yoknapatawpha County, like Flannery O’Conner knew the land around Andalusia, like Eudora Welty knew the South by looking at her garden and her fellow men.

Jefferson Ross is a modern day mystic, a folk artist, a man driven by the power of the written word, the beauty of melody, the poetry of images and the ever ambient allure of the South.

Listen to him…” Thomm Jutz, Nashville, TN

FESTER HAGOOD

Just a few miles south of Athens, Georgia there's the small town of Watkinsville. Born and raised in that town is this enigma of a fellow named Tracey Fester Hagood, but folks just call him Fester. Rumor has it, he once beat up a shark. I don't know what that has to do with anything. Well, other than to establish the fact that he won't be defeated. He's proven that again lately by recently recovering from a shoulder surgery that could've potentially crippled a guitar player's livelihood. With a head full of long blonde hair and a matching beard he looks like he might be one of the Kentucky Headhunters or just maybe a regular ol' headhunter. What he really is though, is one of the most diverse singer/songwriters I've ever seen.

Erin Enderlin

“One of the best things about country music was that it was adult music,” Erin Enderlin says. “It was real music that dealt with hard issues in life so that people going through those things don’t feel so alone.”

The observation is signature Enderlin: She has a way of turning a song or even just a thought into an outstretched hand to the lonely or ashamed. While she first turned heads as a godsend to those aching for an artist with some golden-era country backbone, she has since emerged as a literary songwriter and superb vocal stylist with a knack for sharply drawn––and often sad––characters. Backsliders, avengers, lovers, and victims––they’re all in her acclaimed albums, such as 2019’s Faulkner County and 2017’s Whiskeytown Crier.

Enderlin’s new single, “Somebody’s Shot of Whiskey,” sounds like a grinning defense of a good time––and it is, riding a pocket groove that echoes the laid-back cool of 70s Emmylou Harris with lines that evoke the unapologetic irreverence of Loretta Lynn. Like Emmylou and Loretta, it’s also more than a party: Enderlin often uses a character’s vulnerability as a gateway to their strength. Amidst acoustic guitar, crisp snare, and cheeky fiddle, Enderlin’s protagonist admits she’s not for everybody, then celebrates not just self-acceptance, but love with another person that can only be found when we are wholly and unapologetically ourselves.

With "a voice for the gods that can transport listeners to other realms" (Boston Globe), Mary Fahl is an expressive, emotional singer/songwriter who first achieved fame as lead singer and co-founder of the mid-1990s NYC- based chamber-pop group October Project.

As a solo artist, she’s had more freedom to pursue her own muse, whether that means writing and recording songs for movies (including the theme for the Civil War epic "Gods and Generals"), singing arias and medieval Spanish songs for Sony Classical or releasing a unique album-length take on
Dark Side of the Moon. As befits a former Catholic schoolgirl who went on to major in medieval studies and develop a lifelong interest in Hermeticism, Mary Fahl makes music that feels timeless, esoteric and ecumenical.

Her elegant, cinematic songs draw on classical and world music sources, American art song, as well as thinking man’s folk-pop which she performs with an earthy, viscerally powerful contralto that bridges the generational gap between Fairport Convention’s Sandy Denny and London Grammar’s Hanna Reid. Fahl's sound has a hauntingly gothic romanticism that inspired Anne Rice to portray it emanating from a dead woman’s room in her 2013 novel
The Wolves of Midwinter.

Over the past few years she’s been touring and recording on her own label, Rimar Records and her recent releases are garnering awards including an Indie Acoustic Award for Best Live Album for “
Live at the Mauch Chunk Opera House” (filmed for PBS) and an Independent Music Award for her recent holiday album, “Winter Songs and Carols”. Her latest release, a Blu-ray 5.1 surround DVD, "From the Dark Side of the Moon", brilliantly mixed by Bob Clearmountain, has been called "Immersive Album of the Year" by Life in Surround.

Shawn Mullins (born March 8, 1968) is an American singer-songwriter who specializes in folk rock, instrumental rock, adult alternative, and Americana music. He is best known for the 1998 single “Lullaby”, which hit number one on the Adult Top 40 and was nominated for a Grammy Award.

Mullins was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He cultivated an interest in music beginning in his days at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Georgia (where he made the acquaintance of friend and mentor Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls). Later, he honed his craft in his college days at North Georgia College and State University as a solo acoustic musician and bandmaster of the military marching band (Golden Eagle Band). He attended North Georgia College and State University on an Army ROTC scholarship with an intention of possibly pursuing a military career. Although he quickly abandoned this notion in favor of songwriting, the contract nonetheless obliged him after graduation to serve a short term as an inactive Infantry officer in the Individual Ready Reserve component of the U.S. Army Reserve. He served in an inactive status, reaching the rank of 1st lieutenant before fulfilling his service obligation and resigning honorably.

His critical breakthrough came when his song “Lullaby”, from the album Soul’s Core, became a radio and video hit. In the video for “Lullaby”, directed by Roger Pistole, actress Dominique Swain appeared. One of his more famous songs, “All in My Head”, was featured on the hit television sitcom “Scrubs”. This song was written after an e-mail was sent out by the producers of the new show searching for a theme song. Mullins wrote a demo version and sent it in within 24 hours. It wasn’t selected as the theme song, but the demo version was used in a season one episode of the series.

Another single, “Shimmer”, was included on the soundtrack for the TV show Dawson’s Creek and was a minor hit. “Shimmer” was also used in Australia as part of its promotional campaign during the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics and is still considered in Australia as the unofficial anthem of the games. To date he has yet to match the overwhelming commercial success of “Lullaby”, which was also released as a live performance on the charity album Live in the X Lounge II in 1999. In early 2002, he formed the supergroup The Thorns with Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge.

In 2006, Mullins released his first album on new label Vanguard Records, 9th Ward Pickin Parlor, as well as a new single, entitled “Beautiful Wreck”, from the album. The single enjoyed modest success by reaching number one on the Americana and AAA (Adult Album Alternative), and was featured in the Cities 97 Sampler Volume 18.

On March 11, 2008, Mullins released his second album on Vanguard, entitled Honeydew. On October 12, 2010, Mullins released his third album on Vanguard, Light You Up.

For its 20th anniversary, Shawn is revisiting the music of Soul’s Core by recording two new versions of the album. He is calling this Soul’s Core Revival. This is not a remix or a remaster of the original, but rather brand new recordings with new arrangements of the songs – one album will be new stripped down solo performances, some on guitar, some on piano and maybe one a cappella and the second will be a new studio recording with his full band, Soul Carnival.

The band's mission is to combine traditional Scottish and Irish songs and tunes with their own original songs and tunes resulting in a unique blend of voice, fiddle and accompaniment.

Their new CD, "Play Nice" showcases the bands range and originality. The BlarneyGirls have enchanted audiences touring around the country, blending Irish, Scottish and Cape Breton sounds with new songs by Cara Dillon, Sam Lakeman, Great Big Sea, Dolly Parton, and originals by Michael Robbins and Reva Paget (the BorderCollies) as well as original interpretations of traditional songs and tunes.

The BlarneyGirls two previous CD’s, “Life As We Know It” (June 2010), and “No Malarkey” (June 2012 )showcase the depth of their creativity of both original and interpretive music. On tour, the band has been entertaining audiences at regional concerts, Celtic festivals, pubs and other special events.

"David Wilcox’s ongoing musical journey is compelling and richly deserving of a listen.”
— Rolling Stone

More than three decades into his career, singer/songwriter David Wilcox continues to push himself, just as he always has. Wilcox, by so many measures, is a quintessential folk singer, telling stories full of heart, humor, and hope, substance, searching, and style. His innate sense of adventure and authenticity is why critics and colleagues, alike, have always praised not just his artistry, but his humanity, as well.

That's not by accident; it's very much by design. It's the result of a man giving himself over in gratitude and service to something bigger than himself. “I'm grateful to music,” he says. “I have a life that feels deeply good, but when I started playing music, nothing in my life felt that good. I started to write songs because I wanted to find a way to make my life feel as good as I felt when I heard a great song. I don't think I'd be alive now if it had not been for music.”

An early '80s move to Warren Wilson College in North Carolina set his wheels in motion, as he started playing guitar and writing songs, processing his own inner workings and accessing his own inner wisdom. In 1987, within a couple of years of graduating, Wilcox had released his first independent album, The Nightshift Watchman. A year later, he won the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Award and, in 1989, he signed with A&M Records, selling more than 100,000 copies of his A&M debut, How Did You Find Me Here.

In the 30 years and more than 20 records since — whether with a major label, an indie company, or his own imprint — Wilcox has continued to hone his craft, pairing thoughtful insights with his warm baritone, open tunings, and deft technique. He's also kept up a brisk and thorough tour itinerary, performing 80 to 100 shows a year throughout the U.S., and regularly deploying his talents by improvising a “Musical Medicine” song for an audience member in need. In recent years he’s taken that process a step further, carefully writing and recording dozens of his “Custom Songs” for long-time fans who seek his help in commemorating and explaining the key milestones in their lives.

Lest anyone think that he's lost his touch, Wilcox pulled no punches on his most recent release, 2018's The View From the Edge. Not only does the song cycle find him delving into mental health, family legacies, spiritual contemplations, and topical concerns, the song “We Make the Way By Walking" also won him the Grand Prize in the 2018 USA Songwriting Contest.

But Wilcox's unique brand of storytelling doesn't come easily. And it doesn't come quickly. “I could always think of a lot of possible ways the song could go, but the trick was recognizing truth amidst all the cleverness,” he confesses. “The more time I took, the more my deep heart could speak to me through the process of songwriting. I could gradually craft a song that felt like it was coming from the place I was going. If you decide to trust heart over cleverness, you not only get a song that moves you, you get a song that moves you toward being who you want to be. The time you spend immersed in the emotion of a song changes you. The song shows you the world through a particular point of view. Once you have seen the world that way, you can't un-see it.”

A performing songwriter by trade, Matthew Perryman Jones is actually a seeker, at heart. With each entry in his discography, his musical and moral compass points toward an artistic horizon he has yet to explore. Sometimes, he turns his gaze to examine his own inner world. Other times, he looks to the inspirations found in the letters Vincent Van Gogh penned to his brother Theo, in the idea of duende as proffered by Federico García Lorca, and in the poetic verses of Sufi poets Hafiz and Rumi.

Of his most recent release, American Songwriter wrote that, “MPJ’s songwriting acumen could easily be used as a musical template to demonstrate how less can be so much more. [He] sounds cinematic and slowly worms its way inside your brain, feasts upon your emotions, and ultimately burrows down into your soul.” It could be said that Matthew makes soul music — not based on how it sounds, but on where it originates and where it resides.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Matthew grew up in Georgia and cut his artistic teeth in the Atlanta music scene before heading north to Nashville. His debut release, Nowhere Else But Here, dropped in 2000, followed by three subsequent albums — Throwing Punches in the Dark (2006), Swallow the Sea (2008), and Land of the Living (2012) —  and three additional EPs as well as a handful of singles. Songs from across his catalog have been featured in dozens of film and TV placements, and tours have taken him across the U.S. and abroad to share stages with legends like Shawn Colvin and Patty Griffin, as well as the Ten Out of Tenn songwriter collective of which he is a part.

Now, Matthew is gearing up to release his fifth album, alongside producer Josh Kaler, focused on genius loci — the spirit of place. Written across the country throughout 2017, and funded by generous fans contributing to a Pledge Music campaign, the record was finished in early 2018. As he chases the ever-retreating horizon, Jones will stop, listen, and capture when and what the spirit of each place calls out to him.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

Reserved: $24 ($29 day of show)
Premium: $28 ($33 day of show)

The eminent flatpicking genius David Grier, longtime Doc Watson sideman Jack Lawrence, and Americana veteran Robbie Fulks team up for a guitar-fueled tribute to the music and mind of Doc Watson. Since the death of the North Carolina musician in 2012, his unique legacy and place of honor in American culture have become clearer than ever. Doc’s ecumenical approach to repertoire, his warm storyteller’s voice, his deep humility and attachment to heritage and family, and, above all, his phenomenally fluent and boundary-breaking guitar picking make him a permanent hero to musicians of all genres and generations.
