FAMILY WORKSHOPS
SEEC's workshops offer a variety of hands-on experiences that introduce young children to concepts in engaging ways. Each class begins with playful classroom activities that are intentionally chosen to support your child’s development. The learning continues when the class moves into a museum where children and parents are encouraged to learn and explore together as a family.




CLASS DESCRIPTION
Have you ever looked up at the moon at night and wondered why it changes shape? Through interactive demonstrations, song, stories, and art, children will explore the Earth, Sun, Moon relationship, and go on a hunt for moon shapes in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden.



Age Range: 3 - 5 years

Program begins at the National Museum of Natural History, Constitution Avenue Lobby.
