New River Valley Fairgrounds

The New River Valley Fair Grandstand is a large covered grandstand elevated with bench seating along with an open-air track in the center. Reserved seating will be chairs on the track. General admission areas include the VIP Party Zone, the Grandstand (segmented into zones), and the rear of the track area. New for 2017 - HARDROCK Entertainment in association with Forrest Fire Entertainment and Virginia Events will be setting up a large temporary stage on the western end of the track to better facilitate larger production and artists requirement along with making the show more enjoyable for all attendees. The New River Valley Fair is a time honored tradition in the Southwest Virginia region featuring carnival rides, agricultural demonstrations, delicious fair food, and a place for the regional community to congregate and celebrate the summer season! Located on route 100 across from the New River Valley Airport and minutes from Interstate 81, the fair is in close proximity to Virginia Tech, Radford University, Claytor Lake, Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway and many more area attractions.
