Varsity Spirit Fan/Spectator Code of Conduct:

Varsity Spirit makes every effort to provide all athletes, coaches, gym owners, and spectators a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience when attending our events. When attending a Varsity Spirit event, you are expected to follow our Fan Code of Conduct.

The code of conduct is intended to address behavior that poses a threat to the safety of others or detracts from the enjoyment of our events, and to promote a positive environment for all. 

The following conduct is prohibited at any Varsity Spirit event and will result in removal from the event and/or possible exclusion from future Varsity Spirit events:

• Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, aggressive, belligerent, threatening or violent in nature, including verbal or physical harassment of officials, participants, staff, judges or fans


• Foul or abusive language


• Obscene gestures


• Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior


• Illegal drug usage


• The personal, noncommercial use of live streaming apps (such as Periscope, Facebook Live, etc.) to capture all or any part of a performance during the event is not permitted.


• Cameras with extended lenses (telephoto zoom beyond 70 mm, etc.) are prohibited.


• Failure to follow the instructions of Varsity Spirit or venue personnel
